"small hotel, big mess behind the reception desk and in the open store room. First they
had to change the dirty sheets, a TV with no connection, the room needs a makeover. In
short the hotel is largly overpriced, not to be recomended. A new pool is beeing built,
no time for maintenance."

"We stayed for 2 nights, and we both thought that the food and the public areas were amazing. We also booked the yoga classes which were great. The bungalows are very cool, they are open, so you get a pretty unique experience. The beds are a bit on the hard side, this should be improved."

"The accommodation itself was fantastic, with very tastefully done rooms with lovely bathroom and outdoor seating area. The breakfast was also amazing and worth the stay just by itself!!! Finally, the customer service was second to none - nothing was tom much trouble for the hosts. "

One of the Best Hotel Stays We've Ever Had
We stayed in the Yanai room at Sielen Diva, and it was possibly one of the best hotel rooms I’ve ever experienced. The panoramic ocean view from the bed is absolutely breathtaking — we spent hours just gazing through the window, completely at peace.
This hotel feels like it was thoughtfully and optimally designed around the oceanfront. Whether it’s the rooms, the lounge area, or the stunning infinity pool, everything is positioned to keep the sea in...

Nice hotel very clean price ok for the area good bfast service superb very helpful only downside is the steep hill from the road to the hotel but they have a bell on the gate post and a tuk tuk will take you up

My wife and I spent four nights at this hotel and we were treated to a lovely suite overlooking the ocean. The trip was mainly planned to relax from the busy work life and this hotel delivered this perfectly. The seas were a bit rough at this time of year, so we had a brief dip at Jungle beach which is a 5 min walk from the hotel. If you are looking for a gym, its 15 mins away by walk or 5 mins by tuktuk (we tried it once, but we really wanted to relax instead).

We had an amazing time at Jungle Village with such a lovely warm and friendly welcome from all the staff. The property is simply stunning - a real jungle scene with birds and monkeys all around.
Our room was large and spacious with glass all the way round for excellent views and we had our own balcony too.
It’s a short tuk tuk ride from Unawatuna beach or a walk to jungle beach if you prefer something a little quieter.
The owners clearly have a passion and vision for what they are trying to...

Very quiet, though we did stay in the off season, so that's to be expected. Hotel is a little remote, but easily accessible by tuktuk.

Sri Lankan Villa was one of the best places we stayed in Sri Lanka, and the cleanest. Everything in the villa had been thought through, and our stay was so comfortable and easy. Lovely balcony too for relaxing.
The location was perfect - close to Koggala lake, the beach, our favourite little Café Wave (try the hot lava cake), the railway line, and even the little road the villa was on was quiet and good for an evening wander.
Highly recommended.

This property is in an excellent position, 5mins to Hikkaduwa by tuk tuk and 40mins by bus to Galle. It is away from all tourism, quiet and relaxing. The locals in the area are very friendly and always say Hello, Good Morning when they see you or just give you a wave. It has much to do nearby and the beautiful private beach is only 5mins away.

Beautiful property on great stretch of Kabalana beach. It was really nice walking along the long stretch of beach and having a dip in the warm and clear water.
The king size bedroom was big, clean and very comfortable.
The pool area was relaxing with comfortable sun beds with a great view of the beach and also direct access.
We enjoyed eating lunch at the pool area with some of the best king prawns we had, deep fried in panko breadcrumbs. Everything we had for lunch and breakfast was good...

We spent six nights at the Asian Jewel and found it a wonderfully restful place to stay, with lovely gardens and a small clean swimming pool.
We had the “Kingfisher” room which allowed wonderful views of the lagoon from the really large balcony. The restaurant offers really excellent Sri Lankan and western food. The special Sri Lankan curry is highly recommended.

Excellent stay at the Bartizan, the staff were amazing and went above and beyond, rooms were clean and modern with excellent air conditioning. Breakfast was outstanding. Great location, overall the perfect place to stay in Galle.

If your looking for a relaxing five star experience at an excellent price with unbelievable service this is the place for you.
Can't recommend this quiet boutique hotel enough. Arabella is a stunning white villa on a quiet beach, a great place to unwind and a good base to explore the southern and western part of Sri Lanka. The staff are exceptional and will cater to your every wish. The hotel only has four rooms and feels more like a home than a hotel. Without a doubt it's my favourite hotel in...

There is a hotel in relatively small spot (100m) between 4 lane highway and rail.
A breakfast served was constant, so if you're an egg fan - welcome
You need to cross 4 lane road to reach the beach. The beach is perfect both for swimming and surfing
There is no SPA

Stylish, peaceful and perfectly located for exploring the south coast. We think Ahangama is the best town for a mix of relaxation and great dining options. The staff were incredibly welcoming and the breakfasts were a real highlight. A lovely boutique stay... would happily return.
