"The Hotel all basic amenities , to explore the Ella city. Kishore was really helpful.
The only problem was the noise in the night- The people from other rooms drinking and shouting in the midnight disturbing others. we were not able to sleep properly
I hope owners will inform the guests in advance that they dont make noises"

We stayed at the Poomaz Peace palace for 3 nights. The accommodation is within minutes of the main street and because of the close proximity you can hear the live music each night. However the music usually does stop by 23:00.
The room was spacious and clean and offers a fridge, kettle, hair dryer, soap, towels and has a shared balcony where breakfast is served each morning. The wifi connection was good and Poorna the owner was very responsive and available via whats app for any requests or...

We really loved the stay and all the detailing of the room.. host had been amazing and shared all the information well in advance…
It was so relaxing and thrilling experience to spare time with nature - experiencing water fall, birds chirping, rains, swinging breeze and many more things…!!

Superb accomodation if only for the view from the bed looking out onto the Ella valley.
Then a surprisingly fullsome breakfast accompanied by a medley of fruits.
The two brothers looking after the place were able to book tuk tuk drivers who did not fleece you like a number of the others in Ella town.
Therefore spacious well appointed room with fan. as air conditioning would not normally be necessary in Ella. Also no mosquitoes rather some fruit flies from the surrounding lusious...

We had an amazing stay! Very family friendly, lovely room, great view and delicious breakfast. Location is perfect, walkable to the town but far enough to be nice and quiet.

Nice hotel but be aware there is an MASSIVE 300 metre hill that is very very steep to get to the entrance. Do not go here if you are old, have bad knees or are not very physically fit.
On top of this, there are 8 floors and no lift, so many many stairs.
This is the only issue we had, other than that a great place to say and dead central in ella.

Absolutely AMAZING. Our best stay in Sri Lanka. The owners were the loveliest couple I’ve ever met, they gave us tea and cookies when we arrived and made us the most delicious Sri Lankan breakfast during our stay. They were so kind and thoughtful. Be aware that the location on maps isn’t actually where the hostel is - walk up police station road, turn right just after the left turn to the railway and carry on at this right turn until you eventually get to silver dome. It’s about 10 mins from the...

Fabulous! Had 2 nights here. Our beehive was lovely. Nicely set up. Balcony was a great place to sit and watch the weather go by. Amazing views. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Meals were lovely. Would love to revisit.

Stayed here for one night after climbing Adam’s Peak and it was perfect for the rest and sleep that was needed. The property was clean, including the room which had a big, comfy bed and hot water. No ac needed as it got chilly in the evening, there was a warm duvet. Staff were extremely nice and friendly, making sure we were well attended do. Food was excellent - we asked to meet with the chef so we could thank him personally as it was that good. All food was cooked fresh. We left early the next...

we had a lovely time in Galway Heights. We really liked the location in a small rural road close to a hindu temple and small village and in the tea plantations. Breakfast was very nice, and the staff very attentive. The only grievance was the lack of elevator. We would definitely recommend this.

This hotel truly stands out as one of the most remarkable accommodations we experienced during our travels in Sri Lanka. Upon our arrival, we were greeted with a refreshing welcome drink—a much-needed treat after enduring an eight-hour car journey to reach the hotel. This thoughtful gesture was deeply appreciated and set a positive tone for our stay. The reception staff, in particular, left a lasting impression with their exceptional service and friendly demeanour as they guided us to our suite...
