First of all, congratulations and well done to all the Fox resort Kandy. If you want to stay at a truly beautiful and pristine hotel in Kandy then Fox resort will certainly fit the bill. Perched on top of Richmond hill about 10 - 15 mins or so Tuk Tuk / taxi ride from hustle of the city (we paid between 600 - 800 LKR for most journeys in and out of the city). However to be fair Fox resort is so tranquil and welcoming you'll probably want to maximise your stay their by staying put and...

We had a lovely stay at Hanthana House. Pathie and his staff were charming and helpful without being overbearing or pushy. They gave us good advice and helped us to plan trips. A little out of Kandy but for us that was more pleasant

Great little place just outside the city centre. Staff were brilliant and friendly

1. This hotel is located in the amazing location of Kandy from where you can have a nice Mountain view. 2. Staff is very polite, down to earth, they welcomed us with fresh fruit juice. 3. Rooms are very clean, spacious, with bathtubs (if you choose to have 1) 4. Hot water, cold water - water supply is continuous. 5. Staff arranges tuk-tuk for you in 10-15 minutes. Just ring them and they will make it at your footstep. 6. Please speak with Zameek (Manager) & Laxman (Tour Manager) of the...

Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely breakfast with Sri Lankan and Western options. Good location within easy walking distance of town. We had a family room for 4 people which was spacious and quiet.

This was a lovely spot, close enough to walk to Kandy city centre, but far enough away to feel like you were in the country. The staff was exceptional. It was a little pricey.

Stayed here for 1 night but it was absolutely delightful! The staff was very hospitable, the amenities were great, loation of the hotel relative to the scenic view was fantastic, breakfast was amazing (with so much variety), room was decent sized and clean too. Got upgraded so appreciate that very much. Gave us nothing to complain about. 10/10 and would highly recommend.

We stayed in this hotel for three days while we explored Kandy. The hotel itself is set in a beautiful serene. There is a high level of attention to detail with the rooms, everything has been carefully considered. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Although the hotel is outside of the city, the hotel is more than happy to arrange transport to and from the centre at short notice. The food is cooked to order and tasted delicious. Would highly recommend this hotel.

A beautiful friendly hotel and very clean. Buffet was amazing. Very good value for money. Sadly we only stayed one night

Stayed in family/ presidential suite. Two bedrooms with en suites. Plus a lounge in-between them. So loads of space. Views good, though you have to look over neighbours tin roofs. Pool on roof is lovely. The suite is below the pool, so some signs of damp on ceiling.
