A 20 min walk of brief tuk tuk ride from the station. Reasonably comfortable bed with a private en-suite. The only issue was that one wall of the room is a floor to ceiling window that looks onto the hallway and lets in light from the hall until it is switched off around 11pm. So maybe ask which rooms might be best if you prefer the dark! Air con very good and warm shower. The food is delicious, both breakfast and dinner. Highly recommend the Sri Lankan breakfast tho you have to book it the day before. Checkin was very disappointing. They made me wait 1 hour: Offered me a coffee which I then was told I had to pay for, to finaly say that my room was not ready. That night the front desk called me in the middle of the night, waking me up, to tell me I had to come pay my coffee (when I tried to pay, they didnt have change and told me to pay later) . There was abaolutely no window to the outside. No hot water in shower. Only a left over toilet paper roll, and very noisy as I could hear conversations in the resraurant bellow.
