"It was an adventure finding Belmesnil at night without GPS signal. We checked in late after resolving a minor confusion with our reservation. Found out that we had the entire chateau to ourselves for the night. My wife was afraid of ghosts but if there were any at Belmesnil, they were of the most welcoming and considerate kind. "The chateau from the outside looks magnificent. After check in there is no assistance with luggage. No elevator. Walked up three flights of dangerous floors. The room needs some attention. The bathroom door wouldn’t even close. "

"What a beautiful Hotel. We arrived late but were still able to book for dinner in the restaurant. We had the most beautiful room and we had a really good nights sleep, with our two dogs in the room too. Lovely people, very kind and accommodating in every way. Dinner was absolutely delicious and I can honestly say the best dessert I have ever had. I would highly recommend this hotel to one and all.
