Clean and modern room, very helpful and friendly staff, good breakfast, and they were also very welcoming to our dog who got a tasty treat so felt right at home
Room basic but spacious and clean. The lounge bar wasn’t very comfortable and the drinks were very limited but for an overnight stopover it suited a purpose.
The location, maybe if I’d know the region beforehand, would have been off my list. Amongst a new affordable housing area, right next to a prison.
Great stay overall! Clean, modern room with a comfortable bed, a great walk-in shower, and efficient A/C that kept us cool during a 37°C heatwave. The receptionist was wonderfully friendly and welcoming. On the downside, the garage entrance is hard to locate (we had to pull over and get directions from reception). Breakfast had plenty of options, but the dishware and cutlery didn't feel completely clean.
Nice place, good size rooms. Descent showers. Nice breakfast in the lobby. Can use the lobby to hang in the evening. Parking was a bit unclear, we stayed on the road.
One of few places we stayed that included breakfast. Helpful staff. Beer and coffee available in the lobby/dining area. Quite a walk to the historic distance ~25-30 minutes. Comfortable rooms but A/C wasn’t keeping up.
Booking a second Holiday Inn Express for 2026 was a great choice. The hotel is easy to find in Rouen and made for a very comfortable stay. A big credit goes out to Fabrice who noted my Wife and Father-In-Law are disabled and allocated rooms accordingly for our party. That was much appreciated. We had rooms 014 and 114 which were found spotless and made for a comfortable nights stay. There is a bar which serves a limited menu to which the Pizzas were great and the Croque Monsieur wasn’t bad either. There are restaurants nearby if you fancy something else. The buffet breakfast was superb with plenty of choices to start your day, The coffee was pretty decent too…. Parking is on the side of the hotel on the ‘Rue De Caen’ and is a little entrance through a narrow garage door at a maximum of 2 metres. There are limited spaces and the drop into the car park is very steep so please bear this in mind. Overall a great overnight stay in Rouen and would not hesitate booking again.
This hotel is perfectly situated to visit Rouen. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The whole hotel is modern and clean. Rooms are spacious, comfortable and very clean. Breakfast good. Parking on site is a huge bonus. Highly recommended
Good location for the city, not right in the hub of it so quiet but easy to walk into to bars, restaurants, cafes and shops.
Check in was easy, staff friendly and hotel looks clean. Parking available at a small charge.
Excellent breakfast! Lots of variety, everything was really good. Bed was very comfortable. Only thing was the parking. One could pay 11 euros a night for underground parking or find a spot on the street for free. Street parking was a bit of a challenge however we did find a spot.
Staying here was stress free and enjoyable. Old part of Rouen was quaint, with great restaurants. The only inconvenience for us is that it was further than we thought of places we wanted to see.
