Top Kitaadachi District Hotel Reviews

Hotel Metropolitan Tokyo Ikebukuro

10/10 Excellent

"This is classified as "business" hotel but is more like a 4+ star hotel because of the service. The front desk, concierge, and bell desk were all very professional, helpful, and offered full service. I did get the breakfast buffet which was the same each day. It's very popular and gets busy early in the AM. The hotel room is a little small but still enough space for suitcases. It's location is close to the station which was nice."

SOTETSU GRAND FRESA TAKADANOBABA

10/10 Excellent

"Rooms were small, but are the typical size you'd expect from business hotels in Tokyo. It's enough space for a comfortable stay. The common areas and rooms were tidy, clean, and well maintained overall. The complimentary amenities were a nice touch. The check-in and out process was easy. Note that the hotel is cashless so bring a credit card for payment (prepaid-type credit cards may not work). Enjoyed the close proximity to the Yamanote line, Donki, convenience stores, shopping, and the abundant food options."

TOKYO CITY VIEW HOTEL TABATA-STATION

10/10 Excellent

"The room is modest, which is what I expected. That said, perfect for my purposes as a solo traveller. Clean, functional, well situated. The fitness centre is a few weights, weight machines, rubber bands, and mats. Two huge pluses: the nearness of Tabata metro station, and the varied and excellent breakfasts. Oh, and the availability of a drinks machine which provided hot or cold coffee, tea or water any time of the day or night. Tokens to supplement your drinks and food arrangements were a nice touch, too. I even used the bath my final night. For light sleepers, be forewarned there will be noise from the station next door. It’s impossible to escape except if you have noise cancelling headphones. Me, I eventually got used to it. Since this is Tokyo, which has a fantastic if somewhat bewildering array of transit options, I suspect it would be difficult to find a noise proof hotel in the city. Be that as it may, I would return to this hotel."

Super Hotel Tokyo Akabane eki Minamiguchi

10/10 Excellent

"We had a wonderful stay at Super Hotel Akabane. After a ridiculous 22-hour delay to our incoming flight, the staff were incredibly accommodating to ensure we were able to check in after normal hours. The hotel is right next to Akabane Station which made trips a breeze. And the hot springs at the hotel is incredible. We'll definitely be staying there again!"
