Stay was good, but this is not a traditional hotel. This is a ryokan-style room with kitchen and table. Two beds were raised, and two were futons, like mattress pads on the tatami. (Mind you, they were not uncomfortable, they are just not the 'norm' if you're coming from US.) If you're planning on cooking, this would be a good place. The breakfast offered is toast and coffee, which you would need to make in your room. This hotel offers precisely that (and also a heat pad and a microwave oven). I also like the fact that they don't bother you with a cleaning crew every morning, so you can just relax and keep things the way you want to, all through your stay. As it sits at a very nice and low price point it is good value for money. The only downside is that it is a bit outside of the Tokyo center, but as the lokal train station is only 300 meters away, it's not a huge problem. We had tv, wifi, aircon, fridge, microwave, small oven (but no pan). Two cups and two glasses. Clean, no insects. They have no everyday cleaning. Close to JR station Nishi-Kawaguchi. There are Mcduck and food store nearby. It took us about an hour to get somewhere.
