South Gap Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Wonderful Stay at South Gap Hotel – Highly Recommend! My husband and I spent four nights at South Gap Hotel in Barbados. We chose this hotel based on its great reviews and convenient location, and I have to say, we were pleasantly surprised! The hotel was incredibly nice, clean, and well-maintained. We stayed in a ground-floor room with direct access to the pool and lounge chairs, which was absolutely perfect! I honestly wouldn't choose any other room. Being able to step right outside and relax by the pool was one of our favorite things about the stay. The on-site restaurant was another pleasant surprise. The food was delicious, especially the breakfast, and the prices were very reasonable compared to other nearby restaurants. The service throughout our stay was also excellent. Although the hotel doesn't have direct beach access, there are two absolutely beautiful beaches nearby—one about a 3-minute walk away and another about 7 minutes away. Both are definitely worth visiting! The location is fantastic. Convenience stores, bars, restaurants, and everything else you might need are just steps away on the same street. You really couldn't ask for a more convenient location. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay at South Gap Hotel. It exceeded our expectations in terms of cleanliness, comfort, service, and value. If we ever return to Barbados, I would absolutely stay here again without hesitation! Highly recommend!"

Hotel Indigo Bridgetown Barbados by IHG

8/10 Good

"I loved this property however its not without its faults. Positives. its brand new rooms are clean and well thought out shower is excellent views are amazing food in the cafe was consistent and very very good the food in the steaks house the first night was the best food i had on the island, however the second time was not good, must have been a different chef. location of hotel is great the beach is really nice to look at but i didn't like swimming in it, too rocky and wavy. go to Savey beach, its the best and only 10usd to get a bed, the food there is not good though. back to the hotel. you can walk on the boardwalk to some cute restaurants. the inside and outside of the hotel is beautiful and clean now to the downside there is actually only 1 the staff in the reception all my encounters along with my travel group was disastrous the only pleasant person working at the front desk was Arene everyone else was incompetent and straight up RUDE they need to be all fired and new staff hired and trained properly would i recommend this hotel overall? FOR SURE just keep your interaction with the front desk to a min"

Divi Southwinds Beach Resort

10/10 Excellent

"The resort is lovely! Pools were excellent! The beach is a very short walk across a laneway. The room was clean and kitchen decently stocked. There are plenty of convenience stores to pick up the basics, or you can hop on a city mini bus (inexpensive) to get to a larger grocery store. There are also an abundance of fabulous restaurants & bars to choose from. We really enjoyed our stay at Divi Southwinds!"

Sugar Bay Barbados - All Inclusive

8/10 Good

"We had a wonderful stay at Sugar Bay Barbados, and one of the biggest reasons was the people. The staff truly made the experience special. Kai, Akiel, Kay, Destiny, and Devon were absolutely amazing. They made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and personable. It seemed like everywhere you turned, someone was greeting you with a smile and a hello. That kind of genuine hospitality is something you can’t teach, and it speaks volumes about the people who make this resort what it is. The resort itself was clean and welcoming, the food was good, the beach was beautiful, and the pool was a great place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Overall, Sugar Bay has a lot going for it, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. That said, there are a few areas where management could make some relatively simple improvements that would go a long way toward elevating the overall guest experience: * Front gazebo: The stockpile of old mattresses near the front gazebo needs to be removed. It’s not the first impression you want guests to have. * Beach cleanliness: The beach should be checked and cleaned daily, including removing discarded cups and other debris. * Dirty dishes: We noticed dirty dishes with leftover food being left out for days. This is something that should be addressed promptly. * Beach bar signage: The missing or damaged letters on the Sugar Bay branding in front of the beach bar need to be replaced. Easy fix for 5 stars"

Plum Tree Club

10/10 Excellent

"I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Plum Tree Club in Barbados, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome and attended to our every need with warmth and professionalism. Their dedication to providing excellent service truly set the tone for our stay. The highlight of our trip was undoubtedly the golf course on the property. It was beautifully maintained, offering a challenging yet enjoyable experience for golfers of all skill levels. The stunning views and well-designed fairways made each round feel special, and I appreciated having such easy access to a top-notch facility right where we were staying. In addition to the fantastic golf, the amenities at Plum Tree Club were exceptional. The accommodations were comfortable and well-appointed, allowing us to relax after long days on the course. Plus, the dining options offered a delightful blend of local flavors and international cuisine, making mealtime another highlight of our visit. Overall, Plum Tree Club exceeded my expectations with its excellent staff, beautiful golf course, and inviting atmosphere. Whether you're a golf enthusiast or simply looking for a relaxing getaway, I highly recommend this gem in Barbados. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!"
