This is a lovely little gem of a hotel. Perfectly placed for the beautiful Miami Beach opposite, down a quiet little side road but close enough to stroll into Oistins. Very handy for the Friday Fish Fry (but the little stalls sell delicious fish dishes all week). Our room was large with a huge four poster, settee, table, chairs, coffee machine, kettle and a selection of tea and coffee. A big bathroom with lovely toiletries and an outside private patio with settee, table and sun loungers....

Great boutique hotel, with sea view. Perfect stop off before getting our flight back to London the following day. Our hostesses were very welcoming and helpful.

Coral Reef offers a uniquely beautiful garden setting with a sea and beach border. To glance in any direction in any of those settings, is to see beauty. The elegant and welcoming main building and scattered cottages and garden rooms sit comfortably and gloriously within the garden and beach areas. All ones needs are absorbed by the attention of a myriad of gentle, characterful and super efficient staff and underpinned by the ever present attention of the family owners. Paradise on earth.

Everything at this hotel is perfect , have been here many times before and still returning, the staff are exvelent etc.,etc,

We went for 8 days with our 9month old daughter and could not have been more satisfied. The rooms/apartments are incredibly spacious, have a beautiful ocean views, a generous kitchen and are finished to a very high standard. The same cleaner comes every day and does an incredible job at keeping the apartment clean (including dishes and laundry). The property is right by the beach and the gazebo serves a nice selection of food (e.g. fish, salads, sandwiches) and offers room as well as pool side...

Whilst this hotel is about an hours drive from the airport, Bridgetown and the tourist nightlife, it more than makes up for it with it's quiet, peaceful location and the friendliness and quality of it's staff. If you want to visit different locations around the island you will need to hire a car (for an adventure, try the bus services - quite an experience - but try to avoid school in & out times unless you want to experience being a sardine). Navigating in Barbados is not the easiest thing in...

Staff are best & most friendly we have had pleasure to come across in 20 years visiting many Carabbean islands. Afternoon Tea, Gardens, accommodation (especially the 2 grand rooms, one of which we are hoping to have on our return) & whole experience was unbelievably good! Harriet was waiting at the airport which was lovely which we had arranged before hand and I kept in contact about flight delay. She took us to there apartment and showed us around which was great . We had a lovely time just for 1 night as we were off to St Vincent the next day. We have been to Barbados before and will go again at some point so will definitely stay here next time .

This was our first time staying in Barbados and at the hotel. We had a 1-bedroom Queen suite with ocean view. Very spacious, well equipped and fabulous view overlooking the pool and ocean. Plenty of sun beds available every day; parking for our vehicle; and some great restaurants all within a short walking distance. Staff were great and we would definitely return to The South Gap.

Our room was really lovely, with a great balcony looking over the polls to the sea. The bed was really comfy, though as is often the case overloaded with pillows/cushions, and the shower was excellent. There was a well-equipped kitchenette with fridge, freezer, microwave and 2 hobs, plus plenty of crockery etc. There was a kettle and a filter coffee machine, but no tea bags or coffee. The host waited up for us as our flight got in really late, however i kept him informed. On entry to the apartment the first impression although sparsely furnished, the place was very clean with fresh bedding and towels. It would have been really lovely if the host had provided limited beverages, so we could make a hot drink on arrival and first thing in the morning. The garage that provided a cook breakfast in my opinion was adequate, nothing to get excited about. Future bookings should make...

We stayed at Le Roy Hotel as a last minute decision, having visited Barbados a few times we found this hotel previously Infinity on the beach. We were welcomed by the reception staff who were friendly and efficient, organising our lovely sea view room. The room and the rest of the hotel were immaculately clean, with beautiful gardens a credit to the gardener. Our favourite part of the hotel was the bar and restaurant, the food was a really high standard and the cocktails did the trick!...

A small boutique hotel set in exotic mature gardens. Most rooms are in the garden and have covered terraces that lead to a rock pool which is great for swimming - I managed one length under water to be greeted by a monkey when I surfaced ! They have a young chef who trained in New York, so the standard of presentation and cuisine is excellent. There is a strong artistic and interior design lead influence which will appeal to like minded people.
