This was our second stay at the hotel - despite the below average reception experience the first time round - mostly due to the hotel's location right by the lake, which allowed us to go swimming in the lake as well as the pool without any hassle. As seen in other reviews, the maintenance team and cleaning team are super friendly, but the welcome at reception is definitely less than 5 star. A beautiful hotel, clean, modern and with great facilities. We ate in the casual dining restaurant and were very impressed with the quality of the food, the service and the portion size! An ideal place to stay for visiting the Niagara area

We loved staying at Hotel Blu. The staff were amazing, so helpful and friendly. We even got an upgrade which was wonderful! The gym, swimming pool and sauna were a great addition, really great amenities. Little touches like the flavoured chilled water were very appreciated. The hotel is immaculately clean and perfectly located. Highly recommend.

Great location on the edge of Old Montreal and 5 mins walk to the port area. Rooms fantastic with kitchenette area. We booked the king suite which looked out over the main street. The size of the room was superb !

The hotel is really well situtated and about 10-15 minutes walk from a lot of what you'll want to see and visit in Halifax. The staff were friendly, helpful and kind. The room was clean although the bathroom a little tired. The bed was so comfortable and I really liked the blackout curtain which meant I slept really well. The gym is small but functional. The pool is bigger than you'd think and is so light with windows everywhere so feels really luxurious. Would choose to stay here again.
