Beautifully appointed hotel in a marvelous setting. Friendly,helpful staff from the minute we entered until we reluctantly had to leave. Room was quaint,tidy and very clean. Restaurant was great, including the sunroom-like sitting area next to a roaring waterfall. Short walk to funky Wakefield downtown shops and restaurants. Our visit too short to utilize the on-site spa. Outdoor fire pits were great on a cool,crisp fall evening. Highly recommended.

Beautiful property with hiking nearby, hot tubs and dining. Spa was nice but change rooms small and lacked even body lotion. Not the luxury feel one hopes for. My main irritation was the property sent over a dozen reminders with links. Management please dial it back.

First impressions was the grounds were immaculately kept. Gorgeous kept up gardens, it was always clean, no garbage anywhere. Our room was beautiful clean and comfortable, every single member of the staff was incredibly helpful happy and friendly. We had two massages in their outside cabin which were fabulous and so relaxing. No small detail was missed. Fire places were lit at night, blankets on the chairs on cold nights. The hot tub and sauna were always hot and ready to go. Amazing breakfast. Overall was a perfect experience. Highly recommended a fall trip to Wakefield it’s a special place. We will be back

Gorgeous setting. The grounds are beautiful. It is an older hotel but well maintained. You cannot beat waking to a view of a waterfall. We did not try the restaurants.

We stayed for 2 nights in the Eco lodge on the 2nd floor.We left feeling as though we were at a resort!From the well appointed room,slightly dated ,mainly the shower, to the pool and hot tub(VERY hot btw)to the amazing food at the restaurants(breakfast at Muse,supper at Heron wine bar with a live jazz duo!)all excellent,includingthe staff!Amazing stay and can't wait to return!Not our first stay and certainly won't be our last!
