"Very nice, romantic, room."
Nice, quiet village. Feeling in room was relaxed. Staff seemed hurried, making one feel rushed when in the pub and dining room.

"Good stopover point on our travels North"
Having only 2 nights available on our trip to spend in the Peak District, we found Blossom House convenient. Diane was a great hostess and provided a sumptuous breakfast which set us up for our day of exploring. The pub next door was good for an evening meal but may be a bit noisy if you like to go to sleep early rather than join the fun.

"Friendly Hosts Great Food"
We recieved a great welcome at this very friendly Inn. Our room was comfortable and full of character. They had been extremely busy at lunch time but the chef came out to speak to us and cooked us an evening meal of our choice which was delicious! The breakfast was ample and tasty. We ate in a beautiful panneled room full of interesting things. Maybe not to everybodys taste but we loved it. Do not stay here if your taste leans towards the corporate!

"Near perfect for a Peak District stay"
Our first visit to the Peak District was made so enjoyable by perfect weather and very pleasant accommodation at Pig of Lead. Large room with a huge bed and equipped with a fan to keep us comfortable at night. There is a bit of traffic noise, mainly first thing in the morning, but nothing too serious. Breakfasts were delicious and varied according to preference and Julie was friendly and pleased to provide information about the area and places to visit. Matlock Bath is a nice place to visit, with plenty to do and some good places to eat.

"Cute cottage in the picturesque Peak District!"
Fabulous stay in the Peak District in close driving distance to the beautiful Manor House, Haddon Hall and walking Trekks such as Dovedale. Located in the 'Plague village' of Eyam; a tidy little town with lots of history and character. There happened to be a festival happening at the time we were there which was lots of fun as well the Hope Valley country show the same week end. The local pub and tea rooms were both a delight. Our cottage hosts were very welcoming and gave us lots of tips on how to make the most of our stay. Breaky was delicious; so many options, my favourite being the 'Innisfree Special'. Room was comfortable, clean and contained everything we needed. Would most definitely stay again!

"Old Hall Inn Chinley"
Great location for exploring the Peak District. We stayed in the Paper Mill rather than the main Inn building. Good clean bedroom and just above the pub. Some noise up to about 11pm otherwise fine. Both the Paper Mill and the Old Hall Inn have a great choice of real ales plus excellent restaurant and bar food.
