"We stayed in the room with two double beds. It’s at the top of the hotel so the view was good. Bathroom is surprisingly spacious and fancy! We didn’t eat here so can’t comment on that but plenty of pubs in walking distance."
"Average stay, tv not receiving signal, boiler broke down, although owner came out to fix within a few hours. Very poor welcome pack (small bottle of milk). No logs or kindling for log burner. View from back of cottage spoilt by messy and junk strewn garden. Nice location with good pubs in village that did good food, just check what days they open."
"A beautiful property, with a fabulous restaurant attached. The hosts were excellent-really dedicated to the comfort and enjoyment of the guests. Lots of lovely, thoughtful details, including fresh milk! "

"Lovely stay, great entertainment for the kids at night. Room was cosy, bed nice and comfortable. Could do with a few more tea bags as only 2 in the room. "
"Second stay here and just as fantastic as the first time rooms are fabulous you are well catered for nothing is ever to much will definitely be making it three years in a row "

"Lovely B&B. Clean, spacious and quiet. Breakfast was really good.
Close to Matlock by foot. However, it’s quite on a hill. So not so practical for people with mobility issues. "
"The location was simply perfect, with a lovely proximity to all the eateries and amusements in the area, as well as the walks and scenery. Our room was clean, warm and spacious and we all slept very soundly (better than at home)! The breakfast was perfect, exactly the right amount to kickstart our days with a lovely selection too. The hosts were so kind and hospitable and went above and beyond to accommodate us, as well as give us great advice and information about the local area. Would absolutely recommend!"
