"I was impressed immediately upon entering our room. It was clean, bright and pretty. "Robert and Ruth(and Milo their dog) are amazing and very nice hosts. We enjoyed the 2 nights at the guest house very much. Robert even offered to drop us off at the bus tour point as we had suitcases and it was a 15 min walk. That was incredibly nice of him. Hotel room had all the amenities you would want."

"This was an exquisite property with a congenial and charming proprietor. Paolo had seen to every detail to make our stay delightful. We enjoyed our beautifully appointed room and all the extra touches, like home-baked pastry! This accomodation is very walkable to sights, shopping, and restaurants and Paolo gave us excellent directions and recommendations which we enjoyed. We would go back to Juiper Lodge in a heartbeat."

"We had a great stay at this lovely B&B run by a very welcoming couple, Margaret & Sandy. Very spacious room for us which had en-suite facilities, fridge, seating area and tea & coffee facilities too. "The hosts are kind and lovely. They made sure I had everything I needed. The place is a beautiful old building, which means there’s no lift — fine for me but not my big suitcase. "A fabulous place to stay, quiet and peaceful. The owners are very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The atmosphere inside and outside of the house is like out of a fairytale where nature and wildlife are in harmony with the house. During our stay we've seen deers in the garden and some very friendly cockerels. The lake is at a short walking distance away. Sadly we only stayed one night, but we'll happily return. "

A reaosonable and secure visit
"This is a perfectly reasonable hotel. Customer service was in general tip top. Very clean, very secure. Inverness itself is not a very large city. You can see what there is to see in terms of historical buildings and good shopping in a day easy. Because the old town is so small, one is never too far away from the sketchy portions if you stay in old town. Our goal was to be out just a bit, but still walkable. This hotel was perfect for that. The rooms are a bit dated but are equipped with good, current TVs. I expect to visit Inverness again, and will plan to stay here again when I do."
