Friendly, welcoming with best view of Loch Ness
"A great place to stop, broke up our journey from Fort William to Elgin. Staff were really kind and welcoming, breakfast was great value (lots for £3.50). Make sure you bring food with you, as there is no shop for miles. Definitely have a dip in the lake by the private beach, the 10km loop walk out ..."

"This place needs to provide a better description of where to check in. Dorm rooms on a college campus. Not much nearby for food, etc, so eat before you arrive or bring your own. Taxi driver at train station knew how to get there, but not exactly where to drop us off. The check in building is not ..."
"Really one word for it disappointed, this was a last minute booking so looked at the pictures, price range and location all good until we got there, I mean the place it's OKAY but is a £20-£30/night kind of place NOT £80, first of all there was not parking space when really stated on Expedia that ..."
"Bare basics but clean. Polite and friendly staff. Bunk-beds. Easy walking distance to bus and train station, and to main street. Only slightly further to Erin Court and Botanical Gardens. Stayed Friday - Saturday, noise-level low. Would stay here again."
"Nice quiet location. Catholic Church just 5 minute walk away. 20 minute walk to the city center. With a roll away bed, was a roomy place for our family of five. Clean and well kept. The laundry machine was very handy. We did five loads. They supplied laundry and dishwasher detergent. The place was ..."

"Cute hotel, great price. I had a single room and I have to say it’s not for an XL sized person lol, everything is compact, and you can hear everyone. But it worked for me. The location is perfect- central but quiet. I enjoyed my stay"
"Great location, easily walkable from station and around the town/river. Very friendly helpful staff, and the on-site Indian/Thai pop-up restaurant was great - simple menu but good food and very fast service, perfect for our first night. Room had everything we needed, comfy bed and bonus of river/castle view."
"This hotel is in a great location, only 5 minutes to the bus station and is in the middle of the town centre. The staff were friendly and efficient. If you can get a room st the back of the hotel, you have a fantastic view of the River Ness. The bed was really comfy and a great overall experience."
