"I used the hotel for the London marathon, was a place to sleep more than anything. However I thought this was a lovely hotel, at a very reasonable price given the area of London it was situated. "On a whole our room was clean, fresh and very comfortable for our needs. However the wet /bathroom basin was too small and the shower needs a door or curtain as all the floor gets soaking wet. All the staff were excellent, friendly, helpful and very accommodating. Would recommend staying here as convenient in all areas. "

"This Biulding oozes history and charm. While it is clearly a little tired and basic on the accommodation, which is reflected in the price. The breakfast was exceptional and amazing value! "A really excellent experience from the moment we arrived. Staff were warm, friendly and efficient. Our room was lovely with a huge comfy bed. The bathroom had a luxury feel and the shower was excellent. We slept very well and then enjoyed our breakfast chosen from a comprehensive menu. Overall, an excellent experience. "
