"The staff was courteous on check in and the pub. The bed was very uncomfortable and the electric shower alternated between very hot and cold. I saw blaxk mold on the corner of the bathroom. I would not recommend."

"This is a lovely hotel with great views and is also dog-friendly (which is why we originally chose it). The standout element has to be the service — Leah and the whole team are incredibly welcoming and put in next-level effort to ensure we had the best stay. If you’re not staying at the hotel but in the area, the new bar is super recommended! There are some lovely pubs but it’s definitely going to be a top spot. We’ll be back this summer for sure now. "The Victoria is a good choice for my travel plans as I am using public transportation.There was a bus station within 2 blocks and the railway station was less than 30 minutes away via bus. The hotel has a very good restaurant and a bar. There is nice outdoor patio seating too.The menu has a good selection including vegan dishes. The wait staff are very friendly and efficient. My room included a small balcony with a small table and 2 chairs. I enjoyed sipping my tea on the balcony while watching boats and paddle boarders on the Menai Straight. The queen bed was firm which I prefer. The rain shower was lovely. There was good water pressure and plenty of hot water. The bathroom was quite clean. Their was noise through the walls and via hallway, however, not too late at night. Overall, I would definitely stay at the Victoria again and would recommend it to others staying in North Wales."

"We loved our stay at Riverside Cottage. The cottage itself had everything we needed and it has been finished to a very high standard. Unlike a lot of places the appliances are from quality manufacturers such as Samsung (fridge, oven, and dishwasher), AEG (washing machine), and Bosch (gas hob), and the beds are super comfy with crisp white linen on them. Cut off from the (quiet) road also it feels quite alone and it is not overlooked. To cap it off the host was very helpful and gave us all the information we needed for a great stay. That included a list of lovely walks, of various grades, which can be done from/to the cottage, and there is also a nice pub within easy walking distance, which overlooks the estuary (George III Inn). We really relaxed here and just found the whole stay totally perfect"

"Clean cosy room with a great shower. Fantastic view of Moel Siabod, weather permiting! Staff were friendly and helpfull and the breakfast was lovely. Good selection of food on offer , watch out for great value specials, the curry was great. Free parking for residents/customers. We will be back."
