"Everything about our stay at Casa Ensenada was superb. The communication was too notch. One of the owners was there to greet us upon arrival to show us around the home and give us some tips on navigating the island. I hey had a fresh bowl of pico, guac and a kitchen of margaritas for us to enjoy after a morning of traveling. Daily cleanings including our own personal laundry was amazing. They checked in on us throughout our stay to make sure everything was going well and to make sure we didn’t need anything. The set up our transfers from the airport to the ferry and we requested a golf cart for the week that they also set up and had waiting for us as we arrived. Unfortunately one of the members of our family had to go to the hospital Nick and Terri were right by their phones to make sure we got wveything taken care of. The house had everything we needed to fully function. Literally the most perfect week on the island. Nick and Terri you both were wonderful. We look forward to bringing our family back and making more memories at your beautiful property. I cannot thank you enough!The Parzow Family"
"Stayed for 5 nights with 2 older children (12 and 14), my husband and my mother in law. Property was as advertised. The room was *exceptionally* clean! Like pristine. We did a lot of cooking so appreciated the well stocked kitchen and that the knives were sharp.
Communication with the host was easy and quick. One minor issue (stove ran out of gas) was tended to quickly. Helpful in organizing a golf cart for delivery to the room.
The Chedraui is an easy 1 km walk away; smaller local fruit/veggie store even closer in the opposite direction. Neighbourhood felt safe. Pool was lovely. Would definitely book again. "
"A REAL HORROR
We thought we had the wrong address at first. The exterior is flaking and there was loud construction the first day. Interior clean but really used and rundown - not even close to three stars or even two star establishment. WiFi stopped working, then no more hot water - had to wait to get that fixed. Bathroom was scary - broken tile, stains in floor and walls. The interior smelled like mildew. No paper goods provided - not even a paper towel or extra napkins. We had to ask for extra toilet paper. And no real knives to use to cook with - just a dull machete.
The keypad lock did not work at all. And then midweek the key broke and we lost a day waiting for repair and also our peace of mind (because we were forced to sleep in an unlocked apartment in Mexico as landlord had no solutions for us).
The website photos were probably taken years ago when place was new - it’s not like that now sadly… would not pay any money to ever go there again! "

"The house easily accommodated our family of 13. It has a great layout than gives everyone plenty of space. The large kitchen and dining room are open to a casual seating area and nearby TV room. The location of the house is an easy drive to either the north or south beaches. We had a memorable time!"
