"It was a great experience for my wife and I to sleep over a pub. The staff were extremely friendly. We met some wonderful people from Wells and we had a really good beer and cider. They even made us a platter of cheese and crackers. The parking was very good, access to the pub was a little difficult due to the many staircases one had to use to get to our room. "Warm welcome received by host. Very friendly. Parking to rear of hotel bit of a squeeze as was busy but not a big issue. Room on top floor was quirky with comfortable bed and leather sofa. Quiet and spotlessly clean with a fridge whi h came in handy and even a microwave hidden away. Full breakfast was piping hot and plenty enough. The fruit plate was a little sparse to be fair but it was exactly what it says on the tin...a plate with fruit so no complaints. Great location in a quiet area but...
