I can't fault the hotel, the staff, the bar, the food or the price. Staff were young but knowledgable. Food was simple but delicious. The bar had inventive twists on drinks (Negronis with port replacing Martini Rosso? A hot chocolate with Remy Martin?) If you're looking for a hotel that is bang in the centre of Edinburgh, look elsewhere. This is in the beautiful area of Stockbridge, 20min walk or 5 min bus ride from Princes St. We'll stay here again. Loved it.

We had an amazing stay! Lovely and helpful staff. I am very thankful! I planned a surprise for my partner as it was his birthday, soni asked if they can do it for me, they said they don’t do that but they will note of it but the staff did an extra mile and also gave us free drinks! It was simple but very special, he was surprised! ❤️ thank you so much. We will surely recommend and come back again.

I have never stayed at this hotel before and I will 100% be returning. Super clean, fantastic finish and the bed sheets were so soft! Couldn’t fault a single thing. We stayed on a Saturday night (on floor 9) and you could hear a tiny bit of noise from local streets but did not disturb our sleep one bit. All staff were super friendly too. Fab location too. This was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. We stayed in the Townhouse Suite which was larger than our London flat! By far the best value for money we have ever got from a hotel room. Staff were excellent and very helpful. The onsite "honesty shop" was also very well stocked with a range of food and drinks with a lovely lounge area to enjoy them in. We have already booked this hotel again for our next trip to Edinburgh.

An excellent hotel with character, class, and great service. I can understand why The Balmoral Hotel is such a famous place to stay when visiting Edinburgh.

The Murrayfield Hotel is the gem of Edinburgh. I had the pleasure of staying 4 nights. It’s a quick bus ride to Edinburgh Castle. In a great old neighbourhood of Edinburgh with excellent local shops, a few restaurants and cafes nearby. The room. My room had very high ceilings with the original plaster work. Adored the lady that checked us in, who assisted us at a later point throughout our stay. The hotel was lovely, clean and warm. The swimming pool was a little cold at first but not too much of a problem. The room was lovely and spacious. The breakfast was phenomenal, with a continental bar to help yourself to. We had a great stay. The staff we very friendly and helpful, the room was lovely, the food was good, and it was very peaceful. It's a £10 cab ride to get anywhere though, so keep that in mind if that kind of thing bothers you and you're not driving (they always came quickly though).

It was absolutely lovely! Very close to Edinburgh Waverley and some lovely restaurants. Calton Hill is right next door as well. The front desk staff was very helpful, and the room was plush and clean. We wish we could stay longer!

Wonderful stylish hotel just opened so very clean and fresh. My room was an apartment with kitchenette (I don't think there is a dining room), high quality spacious bathroom and very high speed WiFi. Staff pleasant, location central and good bar/cafe area. I wanted to stay longer and will definitely stay next time.
