"It’s a very basic hotel. There were a few stray hairs on the sink and bath. The desk wasn’t clean. Bedside cabinet had seen better days (room 119). Bed comfy, though I asked for extra pillowcases so I could double bag the pillows as I do not like exposed pillow edges (I think it’s unhygienic) and the receptionist said she did not have any to give me which was perturbing. Beware £5 per night parking charge."

"We enjoyed our stay. We were given a ground floor room but as it was warm and no air con we requested a change as needed the window open. We were given the top floor, end room, facing the car park. This room was mostly quiet and clean with all necessary amenities. The only downside was that people gathered for a smoke and a chat below the window on a regular basis. Maybe a smoking area away from the building would provide a solution."

"Could do with room update but extremely quiet considering our room faced M4 could not hear it all. Excellent breakfast plenty of choice and very efficient staff working hard keeping it topped up and tidy. Room very clean. Hotel had no menus so did not know they done evening food maybe reception should of mentioned it."

"Clean and spacious room, comfortable bed, excellent shower. Did not have any meals so can’t comment on those. Reception staff very friendly and welcoming. Only criticism is that the room was too warm for our liking even with the heating off."
