A lovely stay. Helen was warm and welcoming on my arrival. The room and en suite bathroom were exceptional and the addition of a small fridge with fresh milk and a bottle of water was a lovely touch. There were plenty of sockets and the and those on the bedside drawers also had usb ports which were extremely useful. The only adjustment I would have liked is that it would have been nice to have 4 pillows on the double bed rather than 2 pillows placed in the centre! Overall a lovely stay and...

The room was very clean, and a 5 star review for all the little extras/ little touches. A little jar of oat milk in the fridge was appreciated for my teas/coffees and also being vegan there was biscuits I could eat. The bed was comfy, and the location is lovely - lovely views of the loch and great location for local hiking and the botanical gardens. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. I don't think it's possible to utter a meaningful criticism of the Cedars. I don't propose to try. Why waste words? I hope to arrange a further short holiday later in the year.

Central, newly refurbed, car park nearby, good value only downsize is that it said it was dig friendly but the cost is £30 per night per pet, so dog slept in the car...

It was amazing stay in lovely historical place with excellent breakfast. Room was spacious, clean and with stunning sea view. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Stayed in a cottage and was equipped brilliant. We had dinner and drinks in the restaurant which was priced reasonably as well.

Excellent breakfast

We stayed at the Kames while exploring the area which is so beautiful. The hotel is ideally situated in an idyllic setting. The food was superb, especially the homemade steak pie! The Scottish Breakfast is the best we've tasted. Highly recommend this hotel.

A busy friendly pub hotel that made us feel very welcome. Very clean, very large comfy bed. A quiet large warm room and clean bathroom. Staff were friendly and obliging and breakfast delicious. Loved the fact a table at dinner was reserved even without asking and then you could choose not to take it. We did and the menu was varied in a dining room that took good COVID precautions. We enjoyed our dinner. Really great value for money and would definitely recommend.

Our stay at the hotel was a very pleasant experience. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was superb. The hotel is located a short distance from the town. I would certainly recommend this hotel to any visitors to Dunoon who are looking for a good hotel at a reasonable price.

The Arrochar Hotel is delightful. The staff are all friendly and helpful, and the hotel has a homely feel. I was surprised that several residents had dogs with them, so it's a dog friendly hotel. The lounge and bar area is cosy. One can choose to eat dinner in the lounge area near the bar, or in the dining room. Our room was spacious and had a lovely view over the lake. We really enjoyed our stay.

We were on a tight budget so expected something quite basic for what we paid. Amazingly great value for money. We were put in what looked like a newly refurbished room with a great view of the woodlands. The room was immaculate and perfect for an overnight stay. The most impressive part of our stay was the onsite team. Incredible customer service nothing was too much trouble. We arrived quite late and they still accommodated making us a bite to eat. Breakfast was lovely with the personal touch...

We loved it here. The decor was on point. Little disappointed check out was 10am but that's just because we wanted to spend more time there. Excellent location for the town and nearby shops etc. 10 out of 10 for kerplunk being available! Thanks!

Wonderful greeting and welcoming from Darren and Karen. Perfect instructions, their local knowledge and enthusiasm and love for the area is limitless. The accommodation is superb, location is very central to some of the most historical and beautiful, silent areas.The choice of breakfast? ..I guarantee you wouldn’t get the choice of cereals, jam’s etc anywhere else..
