Pros: Beds and comfort .Staff very courteous nn
Cons: Needs refurbishment in public areas
Location: Only stayed one night
Comfortable beds .Shame about the view out over the rubbish bins

Nice hotel but requires updating

Pros: The wifi. The noise at 6am in the mornings
Cons: The wifi system. Fridge or ice machine on landing.
Location: Heava Castle well worth a visit.
No fridge in room or ice machine on landing could not keep drinks etc. cool. No air conditioning but small fan supplied. The wifi is a problem every time you finish it requires you to renter password & code Our room was subject to a noise every morning at 6 am boiler or kitchen use. Very good breakfast. Bus stop out side hotel was very handy. Would use again as the location was good for our purpose at a reasonable cost.

Pros: Location, view, staff, atmosphere, building.
Cons: Room decor, lighting, pricing of both room and food
Location: very spacious golf club outside, big driveway (good for cabs etc).
The staff are friendly, and the view is pleasing from the room. The rooms do the job, but are quite outdated and look quite tired, especially the hairdryers which had a funny smell when I used it. There was also no water available to boil for tea/coffee which was disappointing as they offered quite a lot of coffee sachets and teabags etc. Moreover, the lighting is a bit strange - there were so many switches and lamps everywhere! The bathrooms are nice though, and the breakfast was lovely! Overall, a bit pricey for what we got, especially with the room service menu and food menu.

Dated rooms but good service

My family stayed here for a wedding we were attending in the area and we had three rooms. The reception was welcoming and quick, but when I checked into our room, I was a little disappointed as the hotel and rooms are dated and the bed was far too soft, so I didn't get a good nights sleep. The bathroom had an overhead shower which wasn't that powerful. I asked for a wine glass to be bought to our room, but was told I needed to leave credit card details for this, which seamed pointless. There were adequate toiletries in the bathroom and the towels and bed linen was clean. The Hairdryer was an old on the wall one which was scary to use and I thought would blow up the noise it was making. There was two fans in the room which we needed as it is very warm in the rooms. The curtains were blackout but there was no net and the room overlooked the golf course with players continuously walking past, so I had to keep the curtains drawn whilst getting ready and the lighting was poor and made the room even warmer. All the staff were friendly and helpful and checkout was easy. The potential of this hotel is great, but it needs some tender loving care in the rooms.

You did not inform me that the venue will have entertainment. It was noisy, but finished at a reasonable time.
