While the hotel is a bit older, the cleanliness of the entire resort was impeccable! The service, especially at the pool, were friendly quick. Getting into any of the restaurants was easy and there were a variety of options which was nice so the food didn’t get boring. It was very family friendly with lots of entertainment including waterslides. The beach was beautiful and you can pretty much guarantee to see monkeys hanging out there in the morning and early evenings. We had some issues with our transportation at the end of the trip and the staff at the front desk was amazing and ensured we got to the airport on time (the transportation was not through the hotel but if I had to do it again I would have used their services). Overall we had a great time and I would highly recommend. I've been to Costa Rica fiver times since 2015 and my stays at the Springs have been most memorable than all of my other trips combined. Yes, it is one of the most expensive resorts in the area and I'm frugal but every dollar spent at the Springs is absolutely worth it. From the moment you arrive, everything feels intentional, thoughtfully, and beautifully maintained. Dining, the hot springs, Club Rios, the rooms, dining - every part of the experience has been incredible. It's been a month since my family's last stay and now that I'm back in the States, I find myself thinking about the resort almost every day. One of my favorite memories is sitting alone in a hot springs at 7am, watching an iguana float across the pool while rain fell around us. Moments like that is priceless. I would absolutely return again and I'm incredibly grateful for Mr. Lee Banks who created this amazing place. The beach was pristine, smooth, unforgettable. The sunsets are brilliant. Our room was spotless everyday, amazing towel animals on the bed; a very nice touch. Wonderful staff. Breakfast staff were so friendly- Rodolfo, Andy, Paulino, Douglas. Jose and Priscilla doing the rec activities were great. Nadesca serving on the deck was very sweet. Jessica at the spa did a lovely hot stone massage. Elliot picked us up from a restaurant when it was dark! Flower got us a round trip uber on her phone that was reliable and reasonable to go to Conshell beach at the last minute on our last day. Everyone was super, even the security was friendly. Close to the resort is the marina and lots of places to eat. We felt totally safe and it was a wonderful place to relax and unwind. Highly recommend!"
