"Hotel condition and location really good however both being in our seventies, with two full sized suitcases, we were really surprised and seriously disappointed to have been given a half landing room having to lug our suitcases up and down six-seven stairs by ourselves!! Checkin clerk didn’t seem aware or concerned. "

"A nicely decorated room, well located within walking distance for the main tourist attractions. The bathroom was very spacious, the hot water was very hot, and it was quiet around the room. The bedding was clean and comfortable. The magazine provided was also very interesting. The breakfast was great - a lot of variety, hot and delicious, and the staff were very friendly. The only thing was it would have been good to have parking within the cost of the room, we had to park at the park and ride and walk down which took some time. Overall a very pleasant stay for our first time in Bath."

"First the pros. The staff are wonderful!! Super helpful and friendly. The breakfast was also amazing! Good selections and tastes delicious! The restaurant area is nicely decorated and modern. There’s a good selection of toiletries and we had a nice large room with high ceilings. Now the cons. The parking garage is very tight and the other option is a paid lot down the street, just not very convenient. The bed and pillows were so hard and the walls are thin. Didn’t sleep well but I’m also a light sleeper. Generally a dated look upstairs. You also need to check into your room at the bar and carry your luggage through the restaurant. No elevator. It did seem like they were doing some renovations though and going by what the restaurant looks like it’ll be lovely! I did feel the good outweighs the bad though and I’d stay again. I’ll just bring my own pillow next time!"

"Centrally situated in the heart of Bath so ideal for looking around, shopping and transport (train and bus station less than 10 minutes away). Staff were welcoming and very friendly and the room was clean and well equipped."
