This hotel was fabulous. The standard of professionalism from the staff, particularly Sylvanian, was exceptional. He helped us with directions and things to do during our stay.
The room we had came with a private balcony and was furnished well. I loved the scenic backdrop on the headboard!
This hotel is definitely recommended as an alternative to the chain hotels as it is unique. The decor was great, the service great and secure car park easily accessible.
Our room also had a fridge, a/c, TV, wi-fi; all necessary for our stay as it was mid-30's outside.
Overall, I booked this hotel through the special rates in which I didn't know the hotel name before booking it.
I believe I got lucky that I got it for such price.
The location is good 5 minutes walking from the metro which 3 stations from the city center.
Staff is very friendly & Helpful, Rooms are clean and wide, Nothing else I would wish for in a weekend trip....
We arrived to a very friendly girl at reception, but as they visit went over three days the level of staff attention and friendliness varied. The room was smaller than our Ibis hotel in Paris. It seems that hotel rooms in France are so much smaller. However the bedding is uniform throughout the Ibis chain and was firm and very comfortable. The breakfasts again were the same as Paris and very reasonable. The walks along the nearby canal were magical and we'll worth staying on the fringe of the city. But three days was more than enough as a lot of shops were closed.
This hotel is only a 15 minute walk max from the town centre and is the first stop on the airport bus route so is well worth a stay. Lots of great local bars and restaurants within a 5 minute walk - or you can make the effort to go further into town. Some people might find the area a bit gritty but it all depends what you're used to - we live in a city and didn't feel at all intimidated, even at night. Try the Compans Café over the road - fab food, very reasonable and lovely service. Toulouse is an interesting and vibrant city - we had a fabulous time.
