"Great location"
Although in a great location was a bit difficult to find. Lovely decor with warm and inviting staff. Room was quite superb and the aircon was quiet and efficient. Well needed as it stayed above 30c that night. The only downside was the parking and access. We had to use the underground car park under the centre square and it cost 26 euros each day. Thought the hotel should have a means of validating or subsidising this fee. Apart from this an excellent hotel, thororoughly recommended.

Pocket Guide: Boutique Hotels in Toulouse

    Toulouse’s Boutique Hotels

Boutique hotels in Toulouse are sought after by visitors because of their distinctive design, attention to detail and warm personalised service. Use Expedia’s search tool to find a Toulouse boutique hotel that matches your own personal style and enjoy a polished stay in the city.

What to Expect from a Toulouse Boutique Hotel

With Toulouse being a city full of refined culture, art, history and architecture, it’s not surprising its boutique hotels follow suit. Set in the heart of the city centre, the choices include properties which have meticulously preserved the period details of their traditional pink brickwork exteriors, yet within the hotels themselves, you’ll find a a fresh contemporary interior style. Expect features such as clever mood lighting and sleek, streamlined furnishings, as well as dramatic paint colours, bold artwork and luxury bathrooms. In addition, certain properties offer extra touches such as Nespresso machines, designer toiletries and in-room dining.

Hip and Stylish Things to Do in Toulouse

Toulouse is home to several high-quality venues showcasing 20th-century art and contemporary photography. The best known of these is probably Les Abattoirs – a modern art gallery housed in a former slaughterhouse on the city’s left bank – but you can also find other smaller galleries such as the graphic arts and poster museum Le Centre de l’Affiche, and the well-known photography venue Galerie Municipale du Château d’Eau.

After a day immersed in the city’s rich culture, head to a lively plaza – maybe Place Wilson or the Place du Capitole – for some people watching and an aperitif at a pavement café. Or stroll the streets of the old town and browse the many boutiques, jewellers, bookshops and chocolatiers which line its cobbled alleyways. When you’re ready, head to a cosy bistro or brasserie for a spot of authentic south-west French fare. The city is also packed with Michelin-starred restaurants if you’re seeking a fine-dining venue for a special occasion.

When the evening draws to a close, make your way back to your city centre boutique hotel for a restful night’s sleep in sophisticated surroundings.
