"I booked a Club Room and was very disappointed at how dated and dingy the room was. Room smelled mouldy, woodwork chipped, ironing board burnt, shower curtain black with dirt at the hem, toilet bowl stained with limescale. No electricity sockets by bed. Definitely not good value for money."

"Didn't use the Bar, but staff were helpful and friendly. Suited our needs to stay in Shrewsbury, a lovely town to explore. Parking which needs to apt for a few minutes walk downhill near the river. No parking at the accommodation. "

"Rooms are very clean and have everything you need. Beds are very comfy. Only problem was how loud the room doors slam, very annoying for getting a good sleep and can be quite loud if your room is facing onto the car park as the bar area gets busy and a lot of people stand outside to smoke etc quite late at night. Other than that, great place to stay with great amenities"

"Really run down. Dirty carpets. Damaged bathrooms. Lime scale on showers. Rooms smelt. Corridors are dirty. Would not recommend "

"Great room,clean, comfortable and perfect for our one night stay. Great bath and shower with plenty of hot water. Enjoyed a lovely carvery meal in the evening but skipped breakfast as we had a long drive. Food menu very comprehensive and very reasonably priced. Lovely staff."
