"Good location, nice hotel"

"We had a lovely stay. Hotel was spotless. Downside we had to pay £58 for parking plus a taxi to and from the hotel to collect car. Hotel should advise visitors of other closer car parks. Our first time in York and we didn't have a clue. Breakfast was nice and fresh and lots on offer. This isn't a complaint but again the downside was no mushrooms or hash browns. It is the little things. Overall we had a lovely stay with nice weather."

"We stayed in a twin room. It was very dark, and the bathroom was quite small. We did not even have a place to hang the hand towel. Room service was quick, but the restaurant was quite slow. Great location!"

"Good location. Helpful staff. Our room door was between the lift and the stairs. Banging till late at night from people walking up stairs. Room was very small. Thought it was funny that when I asked for more towels after 3rd day and was told okay but no free drink now."

"Centrally located. Close to the train station which is helpful as there are traffic restrictions on Coney Street. Pack an umbrella in case it rains."

"I stayed at The Fat Badger as a solo traveler, experiencing York for the first time. I’m so glad I chose this accommodation, not only for its cosy, relaxing atmosphere, but also its modern touches and ideal central location.
