"This was simply a great Hotel/Inn to stay at. Staff were super friendly and nice, beds comfy, breakfast delicious and if you're a history nerd, it's right next to the Roman walls.
Would absolutely come here again."

10/10 Excellent
"Great stay at the hotel. So good we are back again the following week. "
" A beautiful property, lots of charm. A large room with lovely little details. A nice street in Chepstow too. Lots of amenities & extras, very helpful hosts. Nothing is too much trouble.
My only complaint is that I found the mattress was uncomfortable, I could feel the springs in places. "

"We really enjoyed our stay. Helen was lovely welcoming us, and was very helpful with any queries we had.The cottage was lovely with stunning views of the country, and the pretty garden was large and secure for our dogs to wander around.Location wise, it was only a short drive to Chepstow. Usk, not too far away, is a very pretty town with lovely pub/restaurants. This was the first Cistercian abbey built in Wales and only the second in Britain, and despite now being exposed to the elements, it remains one of the most stunning surviving examples of gothic architecture in the country.
