"Had a great weekend stay at The Roseate. Very spacious room (House Premium Room) with separate bath and shower. It was a nice breakfast, but I felt somehow about the service charge that was attempted to be added on top of the breakfast charge. "

"This is such a quaint place. our room was wonderful. The manager let us store our luggage in her office so we didn't have to lug it all up the stairs. The food at the pub was great! Would definately stay there again. "

"Superb overnight stay. We were upgraded from the barns to the main island. First room had a very squeaky bed so we were moved without question. Room was small but beautifully appointed. Comfortable bed with

bedding. Delicious mini buns welcoming us in the room. Well stocked complimentary fridge. Grounds are spectacular even in winter - lots of seating areas which must be wonderful in summer. Hope to return!"

"Beautiful hotel with amazing grounds, huge room and lots of

touches. The beds were comfortable and the big round bath was something else. Food was excellent and the staff were friendly and professional. The only negatives were when the corporate side of things disturbed the other guests - the braying sales teams taking over the breakfast room with their luggage wasn't ideal, nor the loud wedding planning meeting while we were

in the residents’ lounge. I’m sure there is enough...

"A particularly nice welcome. A very well appointed en suite facility. A good sized and comfortable bed - very thoughtful and good quality ancillary furniture in the room. Very good breakfast. You can easily see why Rafters was awarded a 5 Star AA rating in 2023 - well done Sigrid!! Would make Rafters my first choice if I needed to stay in this area again. Peter May."
