The carpet in our bedroom has a large stain at the side of the bed, which was crusty. The hallways smelt, and the glass in all the corridor doors was covered in fingerprints so that it looked as though they generally don't get cleaned. We tried to call reception and the phone didn't work. We walked to the receptionist who told us there were no other rooms which was a complete lie. He eventually agreed to move us, to a room without a crusty carpet, but the remote for the TV didn't work, and the phone there was dead too. We decided that we didn't trust the service at this point and chose to drive home at 1030 at night. The receptionist was just checking in another unsuspecting family who hadn't book (more evidence of lying) and we drove home relieved.
