"Two night stay to attend the RSC Theatre, which is less than 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Excellent location to visit the town centre and to enjoy the river. Very helpful, friendly and attentive staff who work long hours. The pub is a little shabby in places, but overall very good. We will be returning (when I’ve saved enough Tesco points!) "

"Old building; would prove difficult for disabled as no lifts. For us no problem apart from Room 227 being a distance away from Reception. Room n bed comfortable; we ate out in town which has a fantastic choice of restaurants n pubs. Good base, central location "
