General new paint job required - window white varnish flaked off revealing wood timbers, gloss paint also on the window panes. 1 of 2 lifts were out of order and the working lift was single occupancy. The view of the pier was very good from the room. Breakfast was fine, but nothing special, would be improved with a coffee machine offering more options not just black filter coffee which milk can be added to, also only one hot drinks table so service was slow due to queueing."

"Overall, we were satisfied with our stay at the hotel. The location was excellent, the room was clean, we were pleased with the heating, and the price was reasonable. However, we were disappointed to find that the room we were allocated did not correspond with the one advertised online. The photographs showed a room with large panoramic windows, yet the room we received had only two small windows, which was particularly disappointing as the window feature was a key factor in our decision to book this hotel. We also noted that the room did not include a hairdryer, which caused some inconvenience."
