Excellent new boutique hotel set in an excellent location in Camps Bay. Rooms are small but beautifully furnished. You can tell the hotel has only been open since December as overall service is slow and the staff are still in the process of being trained.

This apartment was much better than we anticipated. Incredible views, lovely staff and service, and a great location. Only issue we had was there are no shops nearby so you have to uber (5 mins to Camps Bay or a 40 min walk ish) but it wasn’t really a problem as we stocked up and the kitchen is great!

Arrived earlier than the official check in time to be met by the friendliest hotel reception we have ever experienced! We were impressed with South Beach and, being fractionally away from the noise and occasional seaweedy whiff of the main strip, meant that it was perfectly located in Camps Bay (still the best place to stay if you haven't been to Cape Town before). It's also conveniently located for the tidal pool where you can swim in warmer water than the sea. And all of Camp Bay's bars, cafes and restaurants are still only a few minutes walk away. Stayed 4 nights with my 19 year old son in a twin in one of the deck rooms so not main hotel - loads of room, modern facilities, large outdoor, private patio with chairs and sun loungers with spectacular views through the trees over the far right hand side of Camps Bay and the beach. Excellent hotel right on the beach front, plenty of options for food and drink within easy walking distance. Only slight down point was the swimming pool was extremely cold & was too cold to get in.

Loved the Dorp’s quirkiness and overall atmosphere. The rooms and bed very comfortable and well equipped. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Fantastic stay here. Comfortable and clean. Fantastic buffet menu and marvellous staff. Great decor and very relaxing. Nice to have filtered water taps in the corridors. Parking for disabled was right outside the hotel. Gym was small but useful. Lots of tasty restaurants around the area. So cheap to jump into an UBER to visit Cape Town waterfront

A lovely boutique hotel nestled below Table Mountain. The staff and I mean all the staff are outstanding and made our stay a delight, nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended , a peaceful haven away from the hubbub of the Waterfront, but only a short trip on the hotel shuttle car.

A great stay at the Mount Nelson - exemplary service, wonderful afternoon tea with a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Upgraded on arrival to a suite which got the holiday off to a great start.

Me and my wife stayed here on the first night of our honeymoon. The staff were very friendly and helpful and even left rose petals and sparkling wine in the room for us. The hotel has a very classic and stylish feel and contrary to other reviews which state noise being a problem we had no issues at all.

South Africa may be known for diamonds and gold, as well as an abundance of natural wonders, but Cape Cadogan is a jewel of a hotel in Cape Town. It is a small hotel that delivers personalised 5 star service. We were very pleased to have chosen Cape Cadogan rather than one of the big chain hotels near the Waterfront.
