Stayed one night on our outward journey and again one night on our return journey home, both occasions were good. Rooms very comfortable and exceptionally clean. Food and drinks all good. Would not hesitate to stay again if we were passing
Was given information sheet on arrival, breakfast being served on Sunday 8am until 10am. We arrived at dining hall for 9.40 to be told they had stopped cooking. So no breakfast, we had paid for.
Would recommend this hotel. Lovely location, clean and comfortable with very efficient staff. Service in the dining room was excellent and the food very good. My only two criticism, no draws in the bedroom and they didn't change the dinner menu during the four nights we stayed with them.
We had a nice stay for one night, got there in the evening so decided to eat at the hotels restaurant. Wish we had gone out....food was not good. it would have been ok, but not at the prices charged. and £5 a pint :I
Warmly welcomed by staff and directed to our room with available support for luggage. Spectacular room with a wonderful view of the Cathedral and a huge bath in the bedroom. Spacious, well appointed, comfortable bed, quiet and with an excellent full English breakfast available in the morning.
Nice room, but tiny bathroom. No need to have 3 screens in the room. Disconcerting to have no one look up from their screens when you first walk in to the reception.
