"Loved this hotel"
The weather was cold and we were received with a warm chocolate chip cookie, we arrived before check in time and were able to make early check in which was great. The room was very clean and comfortable. We didn't have a view to the river but the view to the trail was also nice. The breakfast was very good, all the waitresses extremely nice and helpful and the restaurant has a beautiful view of the Cam river. The hotel is very well located close to river attractions, Cambridge University, restaurants and shopping.

"My room was upgraded to a quiet area"
The very helpful receptionist upgraded my room when saw that I was tired and away on business. This meant I got a full night's sleep away from the numerous families who were enjoying half term together. Much appreciated.

"Walking distance from Park&ride "
Use of chalet room in lovely surroundings. 1 min from motorway but no noise from it. Walls a bit thin to next occupied room and security lights at night very bright even with thick curtains. Staff very friendly, surroundings beautiful. Use of heated pool some months. Unnecessary to add parking charge this should be added to overal fee of room as appears petty and is minimal amount. Cheaper and lovely range of breakfasts in Cambridge though separate charge for breakfast in main house still ok.

"Nice hotel, check your car!"
I stayed here recently, nice hotel, great location, friendly staff. Valet parked my car for two nights, when I returned car to rental company there was a deep scratch on front lower panel, like a curb hit. I know it wasnt there when I rented, I know I didn't hit a curb, only time car was out of my hands was valet at the Hilton. I can't prove anything, but I would recommend that you always check your car when the valet brings it round, at this hotel or any other, I wish I had!

"Nice English Inn"
Do not judge the book by its cover. This was a friendly, comfortable, quiet place to stay. It has a nice restaurant as part of the inn. The staff is small-town friendly. It is on the edge of the country and the exit from the highway snuck up on me. I actually drove past it, but then took the next exit (1 mile) and came back through the picturesque little village. I think it was called Horseheath. This is what I would imagine the quintessential English countryside inn to be like. I had a meeting in Babraham, which was only 15 minutes away. I never went into Cambridge, so I'm not sure how close Cambridge is. The only thing you will need is a car. It isn't on a rail line and I doubt there are many buses from there.

"A cute B&B, brilliant and friendly owners"
I haven't stayed at a B&B for a long time so I might have a different take on this than people who are used to them. We arrived late so we really appreciated that they were able to leave out a key for us. When we woke up, we were greeted by the friendly owners. Very helpful telling us what to see and do and how to get to town. The downsides: - Far, it is far from town, but there is a bus stop nearby and parking if you plan to arrive by car. I didn't mind it being a bit too far because I like walking. - Small bathroom with a very small sink, and sitting on the toilet seat the sink is right in front of you. The toilet seat could not stand up on it's own, makes for an awkward number1 for a guy :) . The water pressure could be better. - Noise - if you get a room facing the street, you will hear the noise in the morning but if you plan to get up for breakfast anyway, you won't be bothered by the noise. - Breakfast choice is great, serials, continental breakfast etc I have to mention that the English breakfast was bland. We looked forward to English breakfast (not being English) so it was a disappointment. It was rich but the taste just lacked. I can't quite put my finger on what was missing but we had a breakfast several days later in Norwich and it tasted much better. We still finished breakfast every morning, don't get me wrong, nothing bad about it but I think if they worked on it a bit, they could improve the experience tremendously. We are happy with this B&B overall :)
