This was the best B&B by far I have ever stayed in. The room was spotless and a very comfy bed. The full Cumbrian breakfast was delicious and plenty of it, There was also a good alternative menu aswell. But if you decide to have an evening meal you are in for a real treat. Darryl is a trained Chef and the meals he serves are amazing.

My wife and I booked 2 nights in this Bed & Breakfast establishment because we thought it looked fantastic and the reviews were excellent and we had promised ourselves a special break away from home that was something to remember. The hotel is a definite 11/10 it is stunning. The fact that it is only 2 minutes from the shops and 10 minutes walk to the lake makes it even better and the views are incredible. Breakfast was perfect as well and the staff were fantastic and so friendly and welcoming. Very highly recommend. Can’t wait to go back.

This is in the most beautiful location and the staff are so helpful and the breakfast was amazing. You have parking facilitates and they gave us the most yummy flapjack on arrival. I lovely place to stay and feel comfortable with lovely residents.

Place was easy enough to find with adequate parking right outside. On going in there was a friendly welcoming greating and there was nothing to check-in. After check-in we were asked if would be having an evening meal which we accepted. We had opted for a larger double room and it was clean and tidy and what you would expect from a rural country inn. Idyllic village pub with beautiful scenic views. Would highly recommend this place as there is plenty of walking trails on your doorstep. This place has a lovely traditional pub layout, fantastic food with plenty of choice, all staff super friendly and the rooms were on point. WiFi great throughout the property. Very comfortable accommodation with friendly and welcoming hosts. It felt like home. Excellent and relaxed breakfast

All in all it was a very nice stay food was excellent room was very good only thing that took the edge of the whole experience was we were told breakfast finished at ten we got down at 9-32 and a snoty waitress said breakfast finished at 9-30 I pointed out it’s only two minutes past surely you can squeeze us in no chance spoilt the whole experience

Food was great worth the price! Whole team were fantastic from check in to check out. Accomodated us with a bigger room on the 1st before check in as we were booked in on the ground floor in needs with easy access room. really appreciated the care and attention to detail will be staying there again!
