Snuggle up in the evening by the crackling open fire with loved ones, or enjoy some good food and drink around the dinner table. In the morning, sit on the sweet little terrace with your morning brew watching the world go by as you plan your days out. 
The beautiful village of Tideswell is home to Jaret House, where you’ll find you’ll be spoilt for choice of where to visit first. Will it be the remarkable church of St John the Baptist, also known as the ‘Cathedral of the Peak’, or a visit to Tideswell Dale to have a picnic and explore the delightful sculpture trail? Maybe you’ll be around for the Tideswell Food Festival held every May, or perhaps you’d like to sample some local food and drink in one of the three village pubs nearby. If you’re wanting to see the rest of Derbyshire, you’re not far from the famous Buxton Opera House, Chatsworth House, Bakewell, or a visit to Blue-John Caverns in Castleton.
