With the warmest of greetings I was shown to my room. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. This is the first time I have slept all night in a hotel or B&B for many years. Breakfast was delicious and gave me a tremendous start to my day. Thank you so very much.

We loved our stay in the Abbey Hotel and apartments, the staff, breakfast & attention to detail were amazing. Very easy walk into the town centre with its unique shops, pubs & restaurants, also not forgetting the Cathedral & Abbey Gardens. Bury St Edmunds is a must to visit.

A friendly, comfortable hotel. The owners were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good and peaceful.

Very friendly staff , gorgeous room with huge comfy bed! Mineral water ,luxury soap etc and hot chocolate for the kids!! Lovely breakfast and wonderful service ! The best thing was our little dog was welcome too in the hotel and the pub. Great location as it makes a nice stop when visiting center parcs especially if your bringing your doggy friend ! Near by courtyard shops and cafe were also lovely , you can buy nice treats , wine , beers etc to take to center parcs with you! will certainly be...

The staff were really friendly and approachable. The meal I had was one of the best I've had in a long while. The room was really clean with a Nespresso coffee machine which for me was a really nice touch as I love my coffee. The shower was lovely and hot. I will definitely be booking there again and I can not recommend it enough. Lovely bar with a nice atmosphere. I was solo travelling and the staff were more than happy to chat while I enjoyed my drink at the bar. I didn't have the breakfast as...

Cory, the manager of The Fox, is a lovely host. Super hard working, he is around to serve breakfast and still managing the bar late at night. Nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are spacious and warm. Parking is immediately outside the rooms and easily accessed. Bury St Edmund’s is a lovely town with excellent shopping and coffee shops. Strongly recommend staying at The Fox for visiting Bury St Edmunds.

I tend to worry about the cleanliness of a B&B and thus avoid them. However, this one was priced at a really good rate and most other hotels close to the wedding I was attending were already booked. I got there on Saturday and I was blown away. Not only was the host (Mike) so welcoming and helpful but the place was beautiful and the rooms far exceeded my expectations. The rooms are so clean (I really have high standards on this!) and I couldn't have asked for more. They are spacious, airy, full...

Clean and comfortable room, perfect for my 1 night stay.

Absolutely lovely and will definitely be back. Kids loved it too. Great breakfast, lovely staff. Nothing not to love. Staff were even great even though we arrived later than the final check in time of 9pm so dont panic like I did!!

I believe it had just reopened after being closed for a whilst for refurbishment. Having not seen the before i cannot comment on the works undertaken. However the place i visited was super, friendly staff (dont think they had been refurbished), great room and very comfy. The rooms are in the adjoining property, so isolated for the jovial atmosphere in the restaurant. And it was jovial and busy (on a Wednesday evening) and again the staff were brill. The food was some of the best ive had in...

A pleasant, comfortable and clean place to stay, but would have liked to see more healthy options, (e.g. salads) on the dinner menu. Gym modern and good size for a hotel.

Lovely spacious room. Very well appointed and planned. Hair drier good as were sockets all round the room. Felt self as a lone traveller.

I've stayed here once or twice a year for many years now for the simple I like it. The odd niggle maybe but who's perfect? Never a serious complaint. Staff always helpful. Food always good and freshly prepared. I could go on.

Excellent place to stay, lovely rooms, friendly staff, great food, thoroughly recommended.

Very friendly and courteous staff. Quiet room. Central location.

A really nice spot in Bury. We loved the decor. Our room was lovely, quirky and clean The staff were very friendly the food was good overall a really nice stay. Would stay again even if it's just to see another room! Would recommend

We stayed here for one night whilst visiting our son who had recently joined the armed forces. It was a very convenient location and a very pleasant stay. The rooms were clean and well equipped and the bar lounge was cosy and relaxing after a long journey. Breakfast the next morning was good and set us up for our busy day ahead. Hopefully we will be returning again soon.

Really lovely and right next to a pub, who could want for more. Excellent location.

Visiting Family in the area and found this to be the perfect base. Easy access to the A14 and Bury St Edmunds, but in the countryside away from the hustle and bustle.
