I was looked after well. Great bed, great breakfast.

It was a first time stay in this beautiful hotel and we loved it, such friendly staff, room beautiful and breakfast delicious, definitely be back, ps so many pictures of my Great Grandfather Fred Archer to see as well so lovely bonus x

Lovely pub with rooms. Staff were very helpful and friendly and our room was cosy and quiet. We had breakfast and dinner, both of which were excellent. Parking was no problem and the pub provided a good base for exploring Cambridge and the Fens.

WOW! What a stunning place! Which we highly recommend a stay here. From when you initially arrive at the property and travel down the drive you can see the wonderful gardens and beautiful views. We were checked in by Millie, who showed us to our room, which was amazing Unfortunately the restaurant wasn’t open, but they did do meat and cheese boards, which we shared one of each, and certainly were not disappointed by the taste and variety. Lovely little property in a quiet village. All to a high standard and quirky. Only small issue was how warm the room was at night as it had been an extremely hot day.

Great hotel

With the warmest of greetings I was shown to my room. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. This is the first time I have slept all night in a hotel or B&B for many years. Breakfast was delicious and gave me a tremendous start to my day. Thank you so very much.

Superb, a real gem of a place, excellent value

Parking a bit tight but we were able to leave the car right next to the hotel with a bit of shufflling. The staff were amazing and rooms ideal with air conditioning which was pretty key in this weather! Brilliant location right in town with lots of nice places in walking distance to eat. Garden was a joy to sit in and have a drink. We didn't eat there so cannot comment but would definitely stay again. Clean well appointed room, friendly helpful staff.

A warm and welcoming stay in the heart of Ely in a lovely pub. The room was gorgeous, beautifully decorated, felt like a bijou apartment, and the bed very cosy indeed with sumptuous bedding. Very quiet, surprising for a pub on a high street . The bar downstairs is cosy with a large menu if needed. The breakfast menu also looked good but we didn’t partake. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

Lovely spacious room. Very well appointed and planned. Hair drier good as were sockets all round the room. Felt self as a lone traveller.

A great location for Cambridge and the surrounding areas. I had a very early train to catch at the adjacent station the following morning and preferred to stay overnight rather than have to get up at 3am to travel from home. Ample parking immediately next door in the station carpark. Speedy check in. Room was super quiet and well provided for with tea/coffee facilities, iron and ironing board, etc. I skipped breakfast and didn’t eat there in the evening so cant comment on the food. Staff were...
