"Excellent location and warm welcome"

"Lovely hotel with comfortable bed and great breakfast. There was also a fan in the room which was appreciated with the warm weather. Would definitely stay here again."

"Great hotel"

"Room spacious and decorated nicely. Breakfast is first class, great ingredients and the standout thing is the bread! All in all a great stay and would stay again!"

"Bit tired but staff were brilliant"

"The room was very nice, the shower was excellent. The food in the restaurant was very good, and the staff were very helpful. Would definitely stay again."

"A very enjoyable 2 night stay. Pleasant locaton, very helpful and polite staff and very enjoyable food. Only comment is that the roomwas really too small to have a king sized bed. Recomended."

"Lovely pub with rooms. Staff were very helpful and friendly and our room was cosy and quiet. We had breakfast and dinner, both of which were excellent. Parking was no problem and the pub provided a good base for exploring Cambridge and the Fens."

"Great staff and amazing location to stay and eat at."

"A warm and welcoming stay in the heart of Ely in a lovely pub. The room was gorgeous, beautifully decorated, felt like a bijou apartment, and the bed very cosy indeed with sumptuous bedding. Very quiet, surprising for a pub on a high street . The bar downstairs is cosy with a large menu if needed. The breakfast menu also looked good but we didn’t partake. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again."

"We were greeted by Noah and he served us breakfast each morning and made our stay more pleasant with his cheerfulness. We slept over the Pub and surprisingly had a great nights sleep for all three nights! We were in walking distance of market square and city shopping! Parks close by and Cam river. Enjoyed our stay!"

"Clean rooms, wifi worked well, and nice that they have air con."

"Clean spacious room, very comfortable bed"

"Good little pub with a very well set up outside room. Marvellously varied menu with Thai theme"

"Lovely place to stay, the communal kitchen is a really good idea I don't always want a cooked breakfast when I'm traveling,"

"This property is fantastic. The staff was very kind and welcoming. Beautiful stay!"

"Great stay!"

"Very helpful staff, very good food indeed for dinner in the restaurant. Their 17th Century main building is very interesting. They have a large car park . At night there is no road traffic noise. The bedroom heating and the electric bathroom towel rail didn't respond to the controls so both rooms were cold. The ceiling lighting was very inadequate and the bed's mattress felt cheap, Despite the issues I would stay here again."

"Nice and clean helpful staff good bar and restaurant"

"Staff are always friendly and helpful, lovely atmosphere in the pub with a great choice of good value food and beers. Very comfortable room."
