"Really helpful check in that explained in great detail about the underground car park, where to go for breakfast and how to get to our room. Our room was clean enough but water in bathroom was extremely hot. Breakfast was average and a bit bland."

"Cedar court is a nice clean hotel with everything you need for an enjoyable and restful stay. Rooms are spacious and well stocked with tea and coffee. The yorkshire dialect leaflet was a nice quirk. Parking was very reasonable at £4 for 24 hours with the option of longer. Navigation to the hotel is a bit tricky but once in its easy to park. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ok. Plenty of choice. The sausages were a little on the cheap side, scrambled egg could have been fresher and the bacon was a bit under done (3 stars for breakfast). Overall a great hotel with a free gym."

"Everything about our stay here was great. The staff were very helpful and caring. The room itself was outstanding - even had a view of York Minster. There was a tea service in the room including cookies and chocolates.The breakfast was the typical English breakfast which is a lot of food and it was all delicious. I would gladly stay here again."
