Fabulous cottage, everything you could possibly need. Cullen is a lovely village with a few shops and places to eat. Communication with host was excellent and we would love to return in the future.
Beautiful, homely cottage. Clean, well furnished and everything supplied you would ever need to ensure you enjoy your stay. Lovely location, only minutes from an incredible beach.
We had another great stay at Doug’s property in Seatown Cullen. Very spacious accommodation with all the amenities you could very close to the beaches. Comfortable beds and nice kitchen.
Really lovely cottage. Everything provided, with generous welcome hamper. Very comfortable beds and sofas. Great bathrooms. We had a lovely week in lovely Cullen.
We had a fabulous stay in this lovely house. It is with out a doubt the best equipped and most comfortable holiday home that we have stayed in. The surrounding area is beautiful with plenty of walks and nice places to eat right on your doorstep. I highly recommend it and hope to return in the future.
We really enjoyed our trip to Cullen. This was our second trip to this part of Scotland so knew a bit about the area.
Cullen is a lovely little fishing village and has a great beach and harbour.
The cottage had everything that we needed and was big enough for our teenage children all to have there own space for a bit of down time in the afternoon.
I would recommend this cottage for anyone with a larger family and the area is stunning.
We really enjoyed our 3rd stay at Doug’s house in seatown only a few streets away from Cullens beautiful beaches.
The house is clean spacious and well appointed. Doug is a good communicator and always on hand to help or answer inquiries.
Thanks for a relaxing week in your lovely cottage. Plenty of space for all the family and a very well equipped kitchen. Hope to stay again another year.
Loved staying at the property. Cullen is always a delight especially in the glorious sunshine!! Would recommend a welcome pack being put together as the info from vrbo is out of date and had to message owner for clarification. Very responsive owner though. Would recommend!
Located within walking distance to a favourite beach, the house is spacious and very well serviced. The kitchen is also well stocked.
What a wonderful find!
Absolutely wonderful stay as always. Feels like a home from home now. Amazing property, amazing place. The only downside is having to leave and come home!
We had a great week staying at this cottage in Cullen. It is in a good location and was well equipped.
We used the cottage as a base to explore the wider area
Nice, and unusual, to get a thoughtful welcome hamper. Beautiful, and comfortable bedrooms. Fantastic kitchen - amazingly well equipped, with a great cooker. Lush bathrooms. Stair steep, and no handrail, so not the best for the elderly in your party. But there is a bedroom and shower downstairs. Lots of games, and lovely books supplied, if you’re not lucky with the weather. No house folder - could have done with a little more helpful info, but we managed, and had a great week. Highlights were all the beaches, the Cullen Heritage Centre, and Portknockie and chips!
The owner was very helpful and prompt with the couple of questions we had before we went. House is very well set out and has more than many holiday homes (games, kitchen utensils, crockery for far more people than the house sleeps etc). It worked very well for us (including a dog). Only very minor point is it has a very small enclosed courtyard rather than a garden. Perfect for sitting in the sun and drying your beach gear but not much more. Would happily return and have recommended to a couple of friends.

Disliked: Cleanliness
Seatown holiday
Have stayed at this property on many occasions. However this time the cleanliness of the property was poor. There was sand in the twin room beds upstairs, the oven and trays in the oven were dirty and unusable. There was a problem with the draining of the shower (which we sorted) but this left the floor soaking. Removing all the things from the floor to mop up, the toilet brush was knocked over and out poured human excrement - disgusting and smelly and horrible to clean up. Also the bins were full so we were unable to put any rubbish out - we had to take it to the recycling centre. Considering the cost for the weeks rental feel that the property could have been a lot cleaner.
very well equipped, in immaculate condition, spacious house. very convenient yet quiet location (hardly any passing traffic in the seatown) perfect for the beach, harbour, golf courses, hotels, pubs, takeaways and antique / salvage / thrift shops that Cullen is blessed with. all within minutes walks. easy access to lots of walking paths and the Cullen Heritage centre in the square is worth a visit too.
this was our second stay at this property and i dare say will be back again! just perfect!
