"Staff delightful, nothing too much trouble. Nice and clean, and what you would expect from a 17th century establishment, and comfortable. Parking was secure and easily accessible. You are in the centre of the village. Easy access to other areas of the Scottish Borders. Evening tends to close early so make sure you bring a good book. "

"This is a nice hotel with friendly helpful staff. My only complaint is the en suite is badly designed with the loo squeezed in to a corner !!! "
