Right in the centre of the village. Food was great and staff were really friendly and helpful

The Townhouse is perfectly located in Melrose's charming centre. It is well-appointed and does a great job catering for guests needs and wishes. It has a buzz of activity that works really well, and the staff are unfailingly friendly, helpful and on hand. We'll certainly be back in Melrose and Townhouse will be our intended place to stay. Thanks folks.

Fantastic stopover in rear cottage, quiet and comfy, even though the pub is busy!! The reason the pub is busy it's got top food and good ale, the Owner and staff are top notch there were Bikers and cyclists stopping as it's in a perfect location. WILL Definitely stay again! Look in village for Droopy Dandilion a lovely little shop for one off items!

The visit was to celebrate my wife's 70th birthday and the staff were excellent. The evening meal we had for her birthday was very good together with the birthday cake which the management kindly purchased for me.

This is a traditional hotel close to the centre of the town. Very comfortable and the staff were excellent, The only problem was access to the car park at the rear of the hotel was by a number of flights of stairs and as I am in the over 80 group I found this rather a nuisance. Younger generation will find it less of a problem.

Very pleasant surroundings and excellent food. Lovely quiet country retreat.

Very quiet and peaceful

Great stay cook service good food good bar and bar food. But watch when u book and pay they offer a full cooked breakfast for £10 more and u don't get it! U have been warned.

Really cute hotel. Very nice staff. Amazing views and nice little town

Booked this at the last minute on impulse as an absolute bargain offer. I didn't have particularly high expectations given the low price & some less than happy reviews. How wrong could I be!! It was amazing!!! I work in the travel trade & stay in many hotels. I can honestly say that I have rarely enjoyed a hotel as much as the Peebles Hydro. I gather that the hotel is under new management. They're doing an exceptional job. It's a magnificent Edwardian pile which, I gather, in recent years had...

Very helpful chap checked me in, nice room, nice bathroom etc

This was a great find .Room lovely .Made very welcome and discovered the most amazing suite for someone who needs some extra facilities. This had an amazing wet room ,small kitchen and bedroom was so tastefully decorated. The garden was sheltered.Could find no downside to this hotel. .

The food was excellent; we only stayed for a weekend so we didn't manage to sample the entire menu. The staff were professional and friendly.

From arrival to departure we were met with really attentive staff throughout the hotel who provided professional service within an informal friendly manner. From reception to dining room, breakfast and cleaning staff there was an informal relaxed atmosphere with a professional delivery. This was the backdrop we wished for to enable us to have a relaxing break in a lovely part of the country away from the stresses of everyday life.

Was recommended this property by a colleague and i am glad i tried it out the facilities are new and modern and the staff are very attentive. Food was very nice. I found breakfast was a little over priced as there is fixed £15 charge which if you just want toast and a coffee is a bit pricey. But all in all very good and i will visit again.

Excellent hospitality, great team. V quiet and calm environment / room so great sleep. Breakfast great, piping hot/ made to order. Definitely stay again and recommend.
