Great stay!
Thank you so much! This was a great place to stay. Each kid had their own bed, the common area was comfortable, the bathroom and shower were great. Quiet location, yet not far from the highway! Thank you Ursula for allowing us to stay at your lovely home!

Awesome location and clean place
Like other reviews, I just want to emphasis the pictures do not do this place justice. The place is a great looking home, clean, and perfect location! We spent 4 nights here with no complaints. Great host and loved every minute of it.

Updated and Friendly Accommodations
We are so grateful that we stayed at Ursula's place! The nice view of creations was great for us to recover from our hectic trip. Oh the clean white bathtub! And the adjustable beds were just what we needed. There were also stainless steel pots and basic spices and seasonings made the stay pleasant, especially the first night after long drive. When it rained, we enjoyed the spacious living area and admired all the professional construction. It's always more pleasant to find the place actually better than the pictures. For those travelers who want to know more about the location, it is situated right at the main road, but the double- pane windows were pretty effective. The rental is on the second floor above the owner's place, but renters get their private entry without going through owner's . Even though we had to rely on Google translate, Ursula's friendliness made communication easy, and her English is way better than our German. Overall, I am just thankful that my husband picked this place!

Better Than Expected
This apartment was so much better than excepted. So beautiful, clean, great location away from the main city, good bakery just up the road. Kitchen was well stocked, shower and bathroom were big. The owners were so very kind and helpful, we didn’t have coins for the laundry on arrival so she borrowed me some Euros, above and beyond! If you prefer a little more country and open spaces than city, stay here!! Best place we stayed over a month long Europe vacation from Norway to France.

Wonderful time in a wonderful place!
Our group of five had a lovely time in this property. It was more than advertised and it's location is wonderful for easy hiking trail access. We were met and greeted so warmly by the hosts and truly enjoyed our time there. I will be personally recommending the property to anyone I know heading to Switzerland!

Super clean, large apartment with all the essentials.
We are a family of five (kids are 18, 15 and 11) and the apartment was the perfect size for us. It was very clean, modern and had all the essentials that we needed. The apartment itself was on a main road, but that didn't bother us. It was a short drive into the town of Brienz where we could find grocery stores, restaurants and a travel information centre which was very helpful. The apartment had space for our rental car. Ursula was very friendly and available when necessary. We easily communicated with her in English.

صاحب الشقه لا يجيب علي الاتصال ولا يتكلم اللغه الانجليزيه ولكنه متعاون . الشراشف والفوط قديمه جدا . يوجد حمام واحد وصغير . المطبخ مجهز بالكامل موقع الشقه علي الشارع العام مما يسبب ازعاج .

Recent Stay in Brienz at the Egger's Property
Stayed for 10 nights in August and had a very nice time in the area. The apartment is very modern and comfortable. Since we did not have car we had to coordinate with not-so-regular buses or to walk 20 minutes or so into town in order to get to the train. Not so bad if you are not in a rush and enjoy walking. Great location with Ballenberg museum, Axalp and the lake close by. Brienz is a good location for getting to other areas such as the Lauterbrunnen area. The Eggers were very helpful and accommodating during the booking process and during our stay. Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed our stay in Brienz with our children. Ursula was a wonderful hostess as well as her huband Ernst made us feel very welcome. The apartment was great, clean, and you couldn't ask for more. The kitchen was fully supplied with the utensils to cook a meal. If you are looking for a great place to stay with a wonderful host look no further. We will be back.

Nice Vacation Spot Near Interlaken
This was a very nice place to stay. There was plenty of room for a family of five. The apartment has been upgraded with a nice shower, and plenty of room for the family to spread out. Additionally, the beds were comfortable, and the wireless internet was good. While there was no air conditioning, the apartment was certainly cool enough for our stay in June. The apartment is secure with a separate entry. It also has plenty of free parking right next to the apartment. When we booked, I was a little concerned that we would not be able to communicate well, given the fact that we spoke no German. However, the host, Ursula, spoke English well enough for us to communicate. I also had some concerns regarding noise and being too close to the main road. While it is true that one can hear traffic, it was not excessively loud and did not cause any problems for us during our stay. Finally, one should be aware that it is not in the heart of the town, but it is less than 2 miles away from the center of town, so as long as that is not critical to your experience, this is really a fine location, as it is right off the main road to Brienz. This is a great option for those seeking a great value with easy access to main attractions to Interlaken region.

Wonderful!
We really enjoyed our stay in Brienz!! This apartment was very well stocked and furnished with plenty of room. We enjoyed that it was close to so many things (Lauterbrunnen, Brienz Rothorn, Lake Brienz, etc). I would recommend having a car if you are planning to stay here. Definitely a great deal for the price!

AWESOME place; great location.
We are a family of four with 2 teens. There was a lot of room. It was very clean. We had not issues. Ursulla and Ernst were great host. We will stay here again when we return to the valley. Internet worked great. As noted in another review, the road noise was there, since the house is on the main road into Brienz. With windows closed the road noise was minimal. We would recommend this property to families. Our trip consisted Aare Gorge, Fiessback Falls, Trammel Falls, St. Beatus Caves, Harder Kulm, Brienz, Interlaken, Glasi Hergiswil and the FunkyChocolateShop. We hiked, ventured, road trains, blew glass, made chocolate, and had a spectacular time.

Mooi groot huis van alles voorzien
Het is een grote etage met ruime woonkamer met keuken, alle apparaten zijn aanwezig die je nodig hebt. Ligging aan de rand van dorp, winkels goed bereikbaar. Zeer vriendelijke en behulpzame eigenaren, bedankt. Wij zullen zeker terugkomen als we weer naar Zwitserland gaan.

Mooie locatie voor bezoek in de omgeving
We hebben genoten van ons verblijf in Brienz in dit huis. Het huis is netjes, schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. De verhuurders zijn heel vriendelijke en behulpzaam. Parkeerplaats direct naast het huis. Dit plekje is een prima locatie om de omgeving te bezoeken met de boot, trein of auto. Wij hadden zelfs onze fietsen meegenomen en daar hadden we geen spijt van. Het dorp ligt langgerekt langs de oevers van het mooie meer. Naar het strand of de winkels deden we meestal op de fiets. Bezoeken aan meer toeristische plekken zoals Wengen, Grindelwald en Lauterbrunnen zijn van hieruit prima aan te rijden. Het treintje bij de Rothhorn is een aanrader. Wij zijn er tot rust gekomen en hebben genoten van het mooie Zwitserland.

Eine sehr schön und komplett eingerichtete Ferienwohnung, in der man sich gut erholen kann. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und immer zu einem kleinen Plausch bereit. Wanderwege führen von der Wohnung entlang des Brienzer See nach Brienz und Umgebung.

Extremely clean, very spacious apartment with very accommodating hosts who checked us in at 1AM. The kitchen is very well stocked, with even fondue paraphernalia! Great location, just a 2 minute drive to Brienz railway station. We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 day vacation :)

Die Wohnung ist geräumig und liegt an einer Verkehrs-beruhigten Strasse. Die Umgebung bietet auch viel Abwechslung, insbesondere der Ballenberg ist sehr nahe. Wie empfehlen diese Wohnung weiter.

Goede uitvalsbasis
Zeer net en erg ruim appartement met erg aardige eigenaren. Brienz is een goed uitvalsbasis voor oa Lauterbrunnen en Grindelwald. Maar ook Meiringen. En de Brienzersee is prachtig!
