Search Hotels with Parking in Bridge of Don

"I stay in many hotels in the UK and Europe and frankly, many of them are not up to the standard you’d expect, so reading some of the not so positive reviews for this one I was already expecting very little but due to the proximity to my teams work location for the week I decided to risk it. While the external appearance suggested I was right to be apprehensive, resembling something between a dark and foreboding prison and an unloved office block, from the minute I entered the reception with it’s lovely smell, the happy to help smiling reception staff and the functional but very clean room in the first floor my concerns vanished and after a week in their care I can say I’d happily recommend Alterns and will stay again if I return to the area. I didn’t use the Health club but colleagues did and reported positively on it’s facilities and appearance, we only ate in the restaurant once and the food was exactly what you’d expect from such a hotel. Improvements? Better exit signage and surfacing for the ample sized car park, more accessible power socket by the bed (hidden behind table), some noise from happy residents on a couple of evenings (room was close to stairs) but really, nothing significant. Thank you Alterns, I’ll be back 😁"

"Relaxing stay with spacious room, large shower that was nice and hot. Dinners in restaurant were tasty. Massages at spa were relaxing. Highland cows nearby were a treat. "

"Excellent place to stay. Best value of the 6 places we visited in Scotland. Loved the photos in the lobby of the history of the hotel and Aberdeen. Did the bus tour around Aberdeen - very beautiful architecture everywhere. Also, live music in the hotel pub every night and we took full advantage of that. "

"I've been using this hotel for 20 years and stayed here as it went through different management and names right back to the speedbird days. It's my favorite hotel at the airport. I like it because it has all the facilities I need however I have been watching the prices go up especially in the restaurant. Still it is competitive considering the prices of the hotels in this area. For me it remains the best value for money and I hope that does not change"
