Lovely welcome from the efficient reception staff. I was travelling on my own and they made me feel welcome and not lonely. The hotel is very stylish and the rooms are big, the bed is enormous. Good showers, very clean, iron and board in the room. Mini bar items are a bit pricey (as is all the food). ...
Heating wasn’t on in the room and the kettle and coffee was in a drawer we didn’t realise and had to purchase .. we also ordered flowers which would have been better if put in a vase and water
Only one gripe was the fact we changed rooms 3 times as the first and second had items missing....the staff on duty were fantastic and beyond helpful ....this place although some rooms are starting to have broken bits is still wonderful ....the pool is fantastic and always clean ...the staff are ...
My husband actually got sick and was confined to bed for two of the five days we stayed at the hotel and you couldn’t ask for a nicer sunny large room to recuperate. Once up and about again the hotel is within walking distance of the central shopping district. Great hotel, loved our stay

The north east of Scotland is one of the most dramatic and awe-inspiring landscapes in the UK. Nestled between the arresting mountains of the Cairngorms National Park and the rugged North Sea coastline, Aberdeen is the urban hub of the area. With its striking granite architecture, historic monuments and sociable atmosphere it is a wonderful place to book a romantic break.

While the natural wilderness surrounding the city will give you a welcome sense of escape, Aberdeen is well connected to other parts of the UK. Easy to navigate, the city is lovely to walk around and travelling by bike, car or public transport is straightforward. If you are planning on visiting the Cairngorms you will need to organise transport.
The Aberdeenshire area is known for its world class produce which you will be able to taste on your visit. With so my choice, there's plenty of opportunity to treat yourselves on your couples break away. Enjoy delectable Aberdeen Angus beef and freshly caught seafood at the city’s excellent restaurants. Staying in an apartment hotel and fancy cooking a romantic dinner in? Visit local fish and farmer’s markets and buy incredible fare direct from producers.
Look out for whisky distilleries and breweries in the area such as Glen Garioch, GlenDronach, Deeside Brewery and new kid on the block Brewdog. Tours of the distilleries are always interesting with cheeky tasters to warm the insides readily available.
