Hampton By Hilton Aberdeen Westhill
3.0 star property
9.4 out of 10, Exceptional, (681)
"Welcoming and very comfortable. Had booked into Westhill but were transferred to Airport. Very quiet which was unexpected being so close to the airport. Usual good breakfast. Noticed tables were not wiped down which was always done in other Hamptons we've stayed in, also no daily newspapers. Very little around but an excellent carvery/eatery 5 minutes walk away. Rooms only serviced every 3 days but this was not a problem for us. Our problem was parking as offshire workers leave their cars when...

Aberdeen Lighthouse Cottages
4.0 star property
8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (3)
"Good location for an escape - Great views on the ocean at sunrise and sunset just a short walk away. Jeremy the host was very welcoming and friendly. House was rather noisy from the elements outside (wind though the old fireplace that has not been covered correctly) plus the noise from interior such as boiler. Original fireplace not usable as advertised however small electric fire was provided. Beds were not the most comfortable and bathroom needs a little love. A welcome pack of basic...

Ardoe House Hotel & Spa
3.5 star property
8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (1003)
"The grounds and the staff were great. The bed was super comfortable and the room appeared to be as well. That is, until it I learned that there was no aircon and they did not have fans. This left me with the option to open the windows the tiny bit they can be opened to cool the room. Unfortunately, this meant a million bugs since there is no netting on the windows. I ultimately had to close the windows, kill as many bugs as I could, and then spend the night alternating between slapping bugs...

Village Hotel Aberdeen
4.0 star property
8.4 out of 10, Very good, (973)
"Fantastic hotel; spotlessly clean; and beautifully decorated. The whole place was so quiet and serene. As a solo female traveller, I really appreciated the extra chain on the door. And the toiletries in the bathroom smelled divine. As a copywriter, I loved all of the copy in the lifts and on the in-room pamphlet especially."

Carmelite Hotel, BW Signature Collection
4.0 star property
8.2 out of 10, Very good, (348)
"Bizarre hotel in good location. Whole place felt grubby and poorly designed and furnished. Staff were asleep on chairs outside the rooms, really strange. No sense of customer service. Bed uncomfortable. Electricity and light switches hard to work out and weird. No free parking, no parking at all, even though they advertised it. Terrible. "
